This charming 750 sq. foot guest quarters is located a few steps from one of the most beautiful coastal trails in California.
Words cannot do justice in describing the experience you will have walking along this magical beach trail that unites the Monterey Bay Aquarium,Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf and Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds. Every twist and turn brings another incredible view of Monterey Bay with it's abundance of wildlife, pelicans, seagulls, deer, otters, sea lions, whales, dolphins in a setting of crashing ocean waves,sand dunes, wildflowers, sailboats, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
One of the best kept secrets on the Peninsula - is the Pacific Grove Golf Course which is just a short 5 minute walk with great prices and amazing views including the lighthouse at Pt. Pinos.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with delicious hors d'oeuvre's, local wine or non-alcoholic beverage and a welcome book that tells you everything you need to know to enjoy your time here.
Once you are inside Sanctuary you will be delighted with the light
filled rooms, tastefully furnished in neutral tones balanced with cheery vibrant colors in the kitchen and bathroom, warm beige, sage green and blue accents in the bedroom and living room.
Everything has been designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind including Spa amenities,plush bathrobes,french press for coffee and cappachino frother, reading library, picnic baskets, beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas for a great outing to the beach.
The space is light & airy, with whitewashed walls through out
balanced with colorful whimsical-inspirational art reminding you to just relax and be nourished by the Ocean environment.
In the living room there is an electric stove that gives you the full affect of wood burning stove with heat and flames and can be used all year long. A favorite spot will be sitting in the over sized chair while reading, writing, or just gazing out the window and looking at the ever changing Sea. You will also find a couch with plenty of pillows and a warm throw to snuggle up with. You can watch a good movie from our D.V. D library or HBO on Cable T.V. The couch also doubles as an extra bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped for making a 7 course dinner or just bringing in carry out from our great restaurants.
The bathroom is spacious with ample storage, skylights, jacuzzi
bathtub, Spa amenities, separate shower and Ocean Blue Towels.
The bedroom is in the back and away from any street noise. It has
a cottage queen bed with great first quality linens.
The backyard is privately fenced in and perfect for grilling,
sunbathing, or just enjoying being outside with the smell of the
Sea close by. Feel free to bring or rent a kayak, boat or bike and keep it in the garage.
