We stayed at Bodhana in early October and cannot begin to describe what a wonderful time we had. We rented the home for a family reunion of 6 adults, 2 young children and 1 infant. The location and views were beautiful and the home well equipped from the kitchen to bedrooms to gameroom. However the pond, zipline and trampoline topped the list of favorite features. We plan to return again. Thank you, Wendy for providing such a lovely vacation home!

Bodhana is simply amazing. We had our wedding there and the location offered plenty for everyone to enjoy from the toddlers to the adults. Plenty of room to run and play as well as amenities galore. You cannot help but relax in this beautiful home! Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very professional and helpful with information about the city. This place is a paradise situated right under the beautiful Shasta Mountain.

Bodhana is truly a magical place! Thank you so much for the incredible experience of staying at this wonderful home. Mt. Shasta is virtually in your living room….and it speaks to you! Spending five days in this very tranquil setting was inspiring and ….as the name means….enlightening. Not to sound too 'new age" but I believe I did, beyond doubt, have a mid-life break through! I will definitely return. Thanks again!

My parents, my sister and her husband and my family (including two small children) had a fantastic time at Bodhana. There were activities for everyone and we could be as active or relaxed as we wanted. We enjoyed the game room with the ping pong table, foosball and air hockey but the biggest hits were the zip line and in-ground trampoline and taking many walks around the property on the nature trail and across the road in the sanctuary. The property is ideally located being very close to other areas of interest: The Shasta Fish Hatchery (the oldest in California!), Lake Siskiyou, Black Butte and Bunny Flats (the trail head to climb Mt Shasta). Working with Wendy was wonderful! I would highly recommend this as a destination property and look forward to the next time our travels take us to Mt. Shasta.

What a wonderful & relaxing time we had. Lots of room for all of us and the grounds are PERFECT for entertaining. The kids loved the trampoline, pond & zip line. We even pitched a tent for the kids outside so they can enjoy this beautiful environment too. Mt Shasta is as majestic as everyone says. Absolutely wonderful THANK YOU Wendy & Jairo for everything. Definitely a time to remember.

I'd have to say I just experienced the best Christmas of my life. The snowy weather we experienced in Mt. Shasta City was deep enough to enjoy but mild enough to allow the adults and kids to get around for sight seeing. We enjoyed hiking, sledding, cross-country skiing, the fishery and historical museum. Our three families lived, ate and played comfortably here. The kitchen was well stocked and organized, as was every other part of the ranch. The design of the ranch allowed for quiet and loud spaces. That's important when you have a sleeping baby and teens in the same house. The teens with us enjoyed the playroom and the yard. Snow forts, snow men and snowball fights late into the night were fun to watch from the tall windows of the A-frame section of the ranch house. -- I love that duck swimming in the pond between the ice sheets. The view of sunrises on Mt. Shasta were unbelievable! If you ever see pictures of Mt. Shasta on books and postcards, that's the unobstructed view you'll get at Bodhana house. Beautiful.

Wendy,What a wonderful time we had! Five days was not enough time to spend there. The accommodations were top notch and we wanted for nothing. What a fabulous reunion we all had! We haven’t relaxed, played and laughed like that in such a long time…we still have smiles on our faces! Can hardly wait to get together again next year but I think we need more than 6 days as it was so hard to leave beautiful Bodhana. Thank you so much Wendy and Jairo for making this such a memorable experience for our entire family!

Wendy, What a wonderful place you have, I felt completely comfortable and slept like a queen everynight. Made some awesome meals with my two adult children who came up with their friends. Everyone was elated, we played like children on the trampoline, had badmitton set & ping pong tourneys, swam and watched the beautiful dragon flies and butterflies while we soaked up sun on the little sandy beach. It will be our new place when vacationing in Shasta. Thanks again, Lisa Mayock

Just returned from a dream vacation spent with my husband and three children. Bodhana exceded my expectations on every level. The property is so beautifully appointed. My children LOVED the pond (which felt like our own private lake along with sand beach). They spent hours playing with all the recreational equipment provided. We went from swimming, to skip tie and rope swing, to volley ball and badmitton to chrochet at dusk. Then we moved inside for ping-pong and air hockey. We had to tear ourselves away to go to the wonderful town. Cute shops and breakfast. Hiking within 5 minutes at an Alpine Lake. Going to sleep at night listening to the noise of the stream and wind in the trees. Amazing star gazing. The home is sophisticated but has a cabin feel. The only disappointment was leaving. This is new destination for our family.

There are gems, jewels and rocks in our world and this is a precious stone. What the owners have done with an exquisite piece of land is to be commended and appreciated. I suggest anyone interested in tranquility, beauty, magic, hospitality, nature get their reservations in early because once this property is discovered you will be waiting in line and going with what's left. I spent a great deal of time just sky gazing into the Milky Way. The clarity of luminosity into the heavens as a result of higher altitude captures your imagination and will leave you wondering and breathless. As far as a finish product the owners have invested a great deal of time and money into the details of comfort and thoughtfulness that only a botique hotel would consider. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the Mt., the finest little town in N. Cal. and this rare jewel of real estate and lodging.

A note to let you know that we really loved staying atBodhana (THE RANCH). The whole thing was magical and I was blown away by the stars at night I hadn't seen the milky way for years. The pond with it's little beach and the rope thing was absolutly great. We will be going back
