Aloha and welcome to paradise! This 3 bedrm sits right next to our 4 bedrm townhome making it great for large groups, rent together or separate. This beautiful resort style community is nestled in one of the most tropical places on earth. The home is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and beautifully maintained grounds. Right across from the longest white sand beach on Maui, 6 miles, you have everything you need right here. The Koa resort has one of the largest heated pools in Kihei.
Once you arrive, you can relax with a drink on the lanai overlooking the pool with peak ocean views.
Our home is over 1200 sf with a lanai so you will be very comfortable here. We have split A/C(3 units) which covers the entire condo and our loft bedrm is one of a few that is enclosed for privacy, but the trade winds in the evening are wonderful, just open up the doors and windows and let the tropical trade winds in.
We have furnished our home with colorful island style decor. We have 1 bedroom upstairs with a bath & queen size bed. Most loft bedrooms are open but we have closed ours off for privacy( a wall half way up to the ceiling). There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a king in one and 2 twins in another, which could be pulled together to make another king. There is a w/d in the unit along with a fully equipped kitchen. We have put TVs in all rooms, large flat screen in living room and all the rooms have ceiling fans. We also have beach chairs, umbrella, coolers & some boogie boards.
The Koa resort has a lot of amenities, large heated pool( heated in the winter) with a spa, 2 tennis courts, putting green and shuffle board. There is a great cabana and gas grills for get togethers and picnics. There is no assigned parking and we have lots of spaces. Our home is away from road noise or noise from the parking lot yet it is an easy walk to the unit. There is also a golf cart there for you to use if you need it.
We are so close to so many activities. Within a few blocks you have shops, dining, banks, & supermarkets. A few miles north there is the Maui ocean center and Ma'alaea harbor where you can catch a boat for whale watching, snorkeling trips and deep sea fishing. We could not have been happier with Robyn's three bedroom condo for six of us and a one bedroom for the rest of the family at the KOA Resort. The location is just perfect for getting to the beach, grocery and other sites in Kihei. From the first it felt like home and had all the cooking utensils, beach toys and towels we needed. The pool was spectacular and could be enjoyed both from the pool area and the lanai. Because three of us have businesses the WiFi was a definite plus, too. Even though the upstairs was partially open we felt it provided all the privacy we needed. Another plus for us is that we were able to meet Robyn, as she was there working on another condo, and we enjoyed visiting with her. Our family came from the Mainland and Japan and it was so good to have a family atmosphere to visit in and reconnect. We have already discussed renting from Robyn again in the very near future. Can't wait!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Kihei is the perfect place to start your vacation. The Koa Resort is beautiful, grounds are well maintained, the pool is huge. We rented both condos which were perfect for our group. Both were clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed,Both had a/c which is a must. The loft bedrooms were private which was great. Great Place to stay!!! Kihei is the place to be to get around the island. The grounds at Koa Resort are beautiful, pool is huge. We rented both condos and it was just right for our group. Our vacation was perfect!! The condo exceded our expecations.The loft bedrm was private unlike some we stayed at that had no privacy. The condo was roomy and comfortable for our family of 5, it had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and well kepted. The pool was huge and never seemed to be crowded. Having the A/C was a blessing at this time of year, it was pretty hot. We loved staying in Kihei because we could get around the island with ease. We would love to come back and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were a group of ten people (family and friends) and we rented both of Robyn's condos for two weeks - one on the main floor and one on the second floor. We were more than satisfied with both. The reasons why we loved it: The grounds - there are 54 units on 6 acres (I believe) of land - never do you feel crowded The pool - well maintained and very large The units - are excellent for large groups The tennis courts - great exercise for the whole family The units themselves - very well stocked with whatever we needed (beach, towels, bedding) The area - no traffic congestion, no people congestion Improvements that could be made: Bedding could be renewed Throw covers for the furniture would be a great addition Check supplies between the two units - it seemed as though there was much more in the lower unit for beach supplies and cooking supplies These properties are very good value for the money and we as a group would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our recent trip to Maui and our stay at the Koa Resort. The amenities were awesome, as was the proximity to beaches, restaurant etc. The pool was large and clean, and the grounds are beautifully kept. There was an abundance of boogie boards, umbrellas, and beach chairs, which we really appreciated. I have mixed emotions about this review. I absolutely loved our vacation, but feel that the accommodations weren't quite what we expected. When we arrived I realized that the loft room was NOT private. It is open to the living area below. Also there was not a king size bed, but a queen. The stairwell is open, so don't walk around undressed if your parents or children are down there. There is privacy in the toilet/shower room... Also it took about a day for us to realize there was an internet/telephone problem. When I went next door to use the phone, the maintenance contact sounded upset that I would call her. She suggested that I unplug the unit. Which I had already done. We were travelling with my parents who were seniors and relying on phone/internet access to keep in touch and take care of business. So it was very inconvenient. Finally she sent someone out at my second request, and he said "Its not working, and that there were parts on order". The condo is a wonderful size for a larger group. Everyone had there own space which was such a bonus. it has been partially updated, the carpet is a bit old in the entrance. The dryer is well used, and a little tired. And you are not allowed to leave towels on the lanai to dry. The air conditioning worked well, but there is no unit in the bedroom with the twin beds. Also the AC vented on the deck, and was aimed at the table. So it was a little too warm to sit out there if someone had the AC on inside. I am being specific, hoping to help someone make an informed choice. We also rented VRBO 81663 at the same time, so it was amazing to have room for our family all together. Overall we really had a wonderful time in Maui, I would love to visit that amazing island again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were so happy with your condominium in Kihei. We saved a lot of money by not staying in a hotel/resort and had much more room, everything we needed was in the condo. The cooler came in handy for our drive to Hana. Kihei was very convenient location for seeing a lot of the island since we were only there for a few days. The grounds of the Koa resort were beautiful and well-maintained. The pool was a lot larger than we thought from the pictures and enjoyed a lot of time there. We look forward to returning to Maui with our whole family one day and would love to stay at your condominium in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
