On both the Gulf and Little Lagoon, Halekai Villa is a truly unique, private property built in the Mediterranean architectural style, featuring high ceilings, French doors and windows, Italianate details. Experience the spectacular, panoramic views of the Gulf, National Wildlife Refuge and lagoon from every room in the house, including the kitchen, dining room, and three balconied decks. This stretch of beach is known for great sunset views at any time of year, the excellent shelling opportunities, and the natural feel of the landscape.
This home has a gourmet kitchen with all granite countertops and bar that opens into a spacious living area for entertaining. Just outside the living room is a substantial, covered front deck (loggia) with a wood-burning fireplace for cozy gatherings. One may sit on Adirondack chairs on either the bottom or top deck (open-air) and look out onto the beach while listening to the Gulf waves. The back deck (covered) opens up from the kitchen/dining area and faces the lagoon. Bird and sunset watching are favorite pastimes here.
Master suite includes custom tiled shower with steam and rain shower fixture. Two guest bedrooms open out onto top open-air deck to listen to Gulf waves and view sunrise/sunset. The home has a huge children's bedroom with two double bed bunks, TV/DVD, twin sleeper sofa and private bath.

Community pool, tennis courts, and fishing pier are located on site. Kids bicycling and scooter-riding around the gated community are common sights here -- very kid-safe and kid-friendly! Thank you for an amazing stay! There are 17 of us and we were all very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the wonderful kitchen and put that dining room table to good use with numerous games of dominoes, etc. We spent hours (days) at the beach and poolside. Also a favorite among all of us was the master bathroom shower! We took turns enjoying the most luxurious shower ever! A week was not long enough!
