My luxuriouly appointed beachfront condo is located in the only privately-held apartment building situated directly on the most famous beach in the world--Waikiki Beach. Nestled among five star resorts such as the Halekulani Hotel and the Hilton Hawaiian Village, this oceanfront sanctuary offers the best location available to vacationers.
Enjoy sparkling blue waters, white sandy beaches, and views of the most recognized natural monument in the world--The Diamond Head Volcano Crater. Sit back on your lanai and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world with the sparkling blue Pacific and colorful rainbows that appear daily in the sky. In the evening enjoy the glitter of the city lights or a late night swim under the beautiful half moons overhead. The beach is right at your doorstep. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the gentle waves as they wash upon the sand.
Say "Hawaii" and alluring Waikiki immediately comes to mind. Here's where you'll find Diamond Head, so dubbed by 19th-century British sailors who found calcite crystals in its crater and mistook them for diamonds. From our beach you can walk along the waters of Waikiki Beach all the way to the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park & Band Stand, the Aquarium, and hike up to Diamond Head.
Waikiki Beach with its golden stretch of sand is superb for sunning, swimming, and surfing. And Kapiolani Park, a 200-acre swath of green that King Kalakaua named after his beloved wife and gifted to his people has tennis courts and a bandstand where you can watch Hula and listen to music. And Ala Wai Golf Course only a few blocks from the Waikiki Shore.
Take surfing lessons in the waters where the sport was born, right out in front of the building. Or paddle an Outrigger canoe, or go sailing on the catamaran parked right out in front of your condo every hour of the day till sunset. Everything you'll need for water activities is available from snorkeling equipment, to kayaks, inflatable floating mattresses, boogie boards, aquacycles, submarine rides, para sailing, and even umbrellas and beach chairs.
At night an abundance of activities are available for adults and children till the wee hours of the morning. Numerous restaurants, shops, night clubs for dancing or listening to music, and karaoke clubs.
In olden times, Hawaiian kings and royalty escaped to Waikiki for rest and recreation. Now it's the playground of visitors from all over the world. Right next to Fort DeRussey Park and museum, and a block from bustling Kalakaua Avenue, Waikiki Shore Resort is the only resort condo on Waikiki Beach.
This spacious 1,600 square foot unit won an interior design award. The condo comes fully furnished in the Hawaiian tropical style with bamboo furniture, tile and carpet throughout, gourmet style kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave oven, gas range, and refrigerator. The condo also has individual split air conditioning for each room. The unit opens to 2 large lanais with spectacular beach/ocean, park, and city views.
Each room has a view of the ocean. Every Friday evening you can enjoy a huge fireworks show from your lanai. This show is put on by the Hilton Hawaiian Village and will appear in the night sky right in front of the condo. An in-room safe, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are provided. There is a Queen bed in the Master bedroom, two twin Hawaiian pune'e beds in the second bedroom--which can be combined into a King bed.
Pune'e beds are found in many traditional Hawaiian homes and are favored by locals since they can act as lounges for reading or relaxing during the day, and then converted to beds at bedtime. In the living room there is a Queen sofa sleeper that also accomodates 2 people.
High speed broadband internet access is provided in the condo! |
