  My wife and I, both retired and visitors to Santa Fe many times, found the Aspen Suite to be just about perfect - quiet garden hillside with good views and wildlife, lots of place to relax outside, even a koi pond.. The interior is really a very oversize (immaculate) room with a kitchenette on one wall, a great queen bed, wi-fi, and comfortable seating, great lighting (how many places practically require a flashlight for reading), large operable windows and a fake fireplace (looked great without the work that accompanies a real one). I LOVED the large jacuzzi (separate room that also has a steam shower) and used it morning and night for both enjoyment and my perenially sore back. Very few stairs to worry about either. Ten minutes to the plaza by car (too far to walk). Both Deb and Bonnie, who live on site (always a great advantage in my opinion) were friendly and helpful hosts, even insisting on a restaurant we needed to try (it was good and moderately priced) and giving us extra ice from their own fridge (the one in the unit is very small). Don't let Santa Fe prices discourage you as there are lots of reasonale eateries and shops in addition to the fabulous (and pricey) art. The hosts have three small, cute and friendly dogs that will want to share your private patio with you. That was fine with us, and I suspect if you don't like dogs they would be dealt with to your satisfaction. We will return to the Aspen Suite the next time we are in Santa Fe. We stayed five nights, which is just about right for us.

  The Aspen Suite provided us with the perfect Santa Fe experience. The suite is quite large, and the high bed is bathed in light by a skylight that was a wonderful surprise. We could lay in the bed and watch the snow fall above our heads. The french doors and windows provide excellent light into the artistic room. The kitchenette was well equipped and the caretakers left us some eclairs, fruit, juice and coffee / tea. The bathroom with the jacuzzi tub was our main hangout. We didn't use the bubbles, but just relaxed in the deep tub with the stain glass window and some candles. Even got to enjoy the steam shower. Everything about the room is wonderful, even the small back patio that opens up to the pinion slopes with a bird feeder and some birdie visitors. Thanks for the great trip!

  The Artist's Casita was such a charming little place to spend our Thanksgiving weekend. The bed and pillows were comfortable (and I'm seriously picky about that), the studio was clean and had everything you could possibly need, a hot plate, toaster oven, electric skillet, and microwave. Our elderly dog loved the private little yard, and we loved the fact that there was no carpet just in case of "accidents". Bonnie and Deb are the sweetest people, so helpful and welcoming. Next time we are in Santa Fe, I know where we are staying!

  This casita was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. Great neighborhood in the scenic hills north of Santa Fe. It is a decent drive from downtown/plaza, but it was easy to get there in about 10 minutes. It was nice to stay away from the busy tourist area in a more relaxing area. We had a nice view from the back patio where we sat and ate breakfast in the cool mornings. The bed was very nice and comfy. The bathroom was really impressive - jacuzzi bath, large shower, and the steam function in the shower was really cool. Bonnie was really nice, friendly, and informative. We definitely would love to return here in the future.

  We loved the Aspen Suite! How wonderful to wake up to the beautiful hills of northern Santa Fe every morning. The suite is even better in person than the great photos on the site - the property is definitely clean and well-maintained and is lovingly decorated in "quintessentially Santa Fe" style. The location is perfect--plenty of parking, and it is easy to get into town or onto different highways to get to Los Alamos, Bandelier National Monument, Ojo Caliente, Pecos National Historical Park and the many other sites in the area. My husband and I needed a break and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Bonnie!
