Nestled in the pinon trees just above town is a beautiful, lovingly built adobe hacienda compound,warm and colorfully designed and decorated.
The Artists Hacienda Compound has been designed by the owner/artist and reflects the sensitivity of adobe architecture so loved in this part of the world. Both units are authentically Old Santa Fe and reflect the wonderful Hand built,hand made quality not seen much these days.
Both are one room units. a perfect hotel alternative.
Attached to the sprawling hacienda these charming units each offer private entrances and private outdoor spaces / both have views of the Sandia Mountains. Each may be reserved separately (both are ideal for one to two persons) or reserved together for larger parties (depending on availability). THE CHARMING ARTIST CASITA has a private entrance and patio. This cozy casita is authentically Santa Fe, decorated with original paintings, handmade furniture, Mexican folk art and artifacts. The sunset view is wonderful through the french doors. The colorfully painted mural adds to the feeling of being in old New Mexico. You enter the Casita from french doors via a flagstone patio and wooded walkway. It is one room with a beautiful Mexican tiled bathroom and shower with handmade Mexican sink. The Casita also has a nice sitting area and patio which is totally private with wooden fencing.
The artist Casita is equipped with a handmade pine queen sized bed with upscale linens. It has a wet bar, mini fridge, microwave,toaster oven, toaster and coffee maker as well as a Dish TV with Premium channels, radio, CD player and wireless internet access. A gas grill is also available.

THE ASPEN ROOM with it's lovely private entrance and courtyard is quintessential Santa Fe. It is also GREEN BUILT with hand troweled adobe walls, brick floors, beamed ceilings and antique Mexican doors make it authentically Santa Fe. South facing windows and french doors allow the sun to flood the spacious room and view Sandia Mountain, it's also a perfect spot to view the sun set. Original paintings, folk art, woven rugs, antique and Mexican furniture adorn the room.
The fabulous SPA bathroom is all Mexican tile with handmade double sinks, Jacuzzi tub and STEAM ROOM with shower and tiled banco. Perfect for a warm up after skiing or just a soothing unwind while veiwing the sunset through the beautiful antique stained glass window.
The Aspen Room is generous in size and has a comfortable sitting area and private courtyard. It is equipped with a queen size sleigh bed with upscale linens. The room also includes a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker as well as Dish TV with Premium channels, radio with CD player and wireless internet access.
