The Apartment

 

Location: Omena, Northwest, Michigan, USA (25 miles North of Traverse City on West Grand Traverse Bay)

Accommodations:  Studio Apartment, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

Located on small, protected Omena Bay, the apartment is suitable for one, a couple or a family of four. (queen bed, sofa bed, "Pack and Play" crib is also available.

You will have shared (with owners)use of our rustic log beach house, private beach and dock. The beach house has indoor and outdoor eating and seating, microwave, small refrigerator, charcoal grill. There also is a fire pit on the beach. Beach is sand and gravel with gentle slope into water that remains shallow and sandy, making it ideal for children.

Enjoy South facing views of the sparkling waters of Omena & Grand Traverse Bays or boating (your boat) on Omena Bay, Grand Traverse Bay or Lake Michigan.
The quaint village of Omena offers wine tasting at the Leelanau Cellar, lunch or dinner at the harbor bar, Tamarack Art Gallery, and the Omena Country Store.

Suttons Bay, Northport and Leland are a short drive away for shopping, art galleries, harbor gazing and great eating. For those who enjoy gambling, Leelanau Sands Casino is two miles South of us. Spend the day at the legendary Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.

The apartment is attached to our home, has a private entrance and ample parking. The owner is in residence.

Pets welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash. (We have two dogs, they are usually in the house or our fenced yard.)
