Classic "alpine" décor adorns this 1 bedroom/1 bath condo, which sleeps five, and overlooks the pool at the Marriott Grand Residence Club resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The Marriott Grand Residence Club sits at the foot of the Heavenly Ski Resort which is located in the Heavenly Village, where retail shops, restaurants, movie theaters, casinos and various other forms of entertainment are at your doorstep.
The Marriott Grand Residence Club is a full service resort with a
spa and health club as well as valet parking. It is a great destination whether it is winter, and you are enjoying the slopes, or summer, and you are enjoying the lake.
Although this is a one bedroom/1 bath condo, it feels very spacious and comfortable with a lot of luxuries including granite countertops, a whirlpool in the bathroom, a balcony overlooking the pool and fireplaces in both the bedroom and living room. It also accommodates five people easily. In addition to the main bedroom, there is a queen size murphy bed in the living room which pulls out from the wall to accommodate two people and another person can sleep on the living room couch.
Whether it is relaxing in the Marriott Grand Residence Club's beautiful "alpine lodge" lobby; sitting on the balcony of your condo overlooking both the pool and the snow covered mountains; exercising in the Marriott Grand Residence Club's health club; strolling through the Heavenly Village, enjoying the numerous

This was our 3rd visit to Marriott Grand Residence Club, so we were familiar with the resort and all of the amenities. We loved it (again)! The unit was PERFECT for us. There was more than enough space for the 2 of us on this trip and still would have been comfortable had our 2 adult sons joined us. The unit was in a great location in the main building overlooking the pool. The resort staff was very friendly and helpful. The pictures provided of the resort are taken in the winter - we much prefer visiting Tahoe in the summer...so beautiful! There was actually still some snow on the mountains while we were there (mid-July). The owner communicated well with us during the reservation process and everything was as discussed - no surprises. I would definitely choose this unit again for all future visits and would definitely recommend this property to our friends or family - with no hesitation.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
