Everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable is provided in our one bedroom, second level Condo in building 7 at the Kihei Kai Nani Resort. Our Condo has a garden view and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, TV, VCR, , air conditioning, free wi-fi, king-size bed, and queen sofa bed. Laundry facilities are located next to the large swimming pool.
Kihei Kai Nani is located on South Kihei Road, directly across from Kamaole Beach II where you can walk for miles from one sandy beach to the next. Kamaole beaches are perfect for safe swimming and snorkeling with lifeguards on duty.
Kamaole Shopping Center is within walking distance and offers restaurants, shopping, souvenirs, and light groceries.
Our Condo was recently upgraded with new cabinets, granite counters, and tile flooring. It is located in a quiet end of the complex away from the street noise.

We enjoy snorkeling right across the street at Kam II beach. Swimming and boogie boarding as well as whale watching and Hawaiian sunsets are all great, right across the street.

We always enjoy getting a break from our cold winters and going somewhere warm.
We have been to several different Caribbean and Hawaiian islands. Our favorite has always been Maui and we hope it is for our guests as well.

First off the location and the complex: The location could not be better in South Kehei! A walk to the front of the complex, cross the street and you are on a great beach with wonderful fine sand, and a rocky point with very good snorkeling (even saw some turtles hanging out there one day!) The grounds were very well kept, and that meant occasional noise from mowers/leaf blowers during the day. A basic pool with some a couple of shade canopies and some loungers. The pool is unheated, so in November it was on the chilly side. Plenty of parking when we were there in Nov '11. The development is older, and the unit has had some updating. The furniture is in good shape, and the kitchen is well equipped (Awesome blender for turning all of that fresh tropical fruit in to smoothies) The kitchen has newer cabinents and counters, and the fridge was clean and roomy. We really liked the tile that ran through the condo onto the lanai. Lots of beach gear, mats, boogie boards, folding camping chairs and even some snorkel gear. The bed was fine, tho the linens were a bit worn (there were holes in the top sheet, but they did not impact the comfort. To sum up, this condo was a very good value, and comfortable in a wonderful location. This is not a luxury unit, and if your expectations are reasonable, you will love it!

This is a great condo in a great location, directly across from Kamaole II beach park - far enough from the road to be very quiet but with a nice mountain and slight ocean view. It was also situated to take advantage of the afternoon breezes, making the A/C largely unnecessary. The unit is nicely updated (not all KKN units are) with tile floors and large cabinets. Furniture, including the king sized bed, is very comfortable and all appliances and amenities (blender, coolers, boogie board, snorkel gear etc) were available. Scads of restaurants are within a 5 minute walk though we cooked in nearly the entire time. The happy hour sushi (10pm) at Sanse is HIGHLY recommended, though. You can buy groceries from the nearby Safeway relatively inexpensively if you work the sales. I would also suggest taking advantage of the small farmers market in Kihei for fruit and the Costco in Kahului for staples and excellent fish. There is a gas grill behind each building which, I have to say, was scrupulously clean and which we used nearly every night. Both the owners and the complex were great to deal with. A minor miscommunication had resulted in our condo not getting cleaned the day we arrived (complex's fault, hey stuff happens) the manager moved us to another unit swiftly and efficiently and the owner immediately refunded that night's cost. Despite the initial disappointment and inconvenience I was very happy with the way all parties handled the situation. Complex is on the southern end of S Kihei Rd so you are well situated to take advantage of all that Maui has to offer. Excellent value for the money and for the location. Strongly recommended.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
