Farmhouse Fanore in the heart of the Burren- an area of surprise and delight for all. This vast area of limestone on the west coast of Ireland is unspoiled since the ice age. Botanists, archaeologists, historians, artists and surfers alike enjoy the variety the Burren offers.
Stepping into Farmhouse Fanore brings one back to the magic of nature, the magic of old Ireland with all modern day comforts.
A flag stone floor leads into the main living room with its magestic stone fireplace resembling the Cliffs of Moher locally. Leading from the living room is a bright country kitchen with fabulous views of Sliabh Elva Mountain. This newly fully fitted solid wood kitchen maintains the traditional country look. From the kitchen one can bring breakfast outside to a stone patio at the foot of Sliabh Elva Mountain.
The more adventurous can take care of Dinner or Lunch with a 3 minute stroll to the ocean. The local grocery store and pub is on your way home from the ocean at end of the cottage laneway.
Farmhouse Fanore has three bedrooms. The main family room has a double bed and ensuite. The other two rooms have two single beds.
Large gardens surround the farmhouse. Wildlife is to be had from your window on this working farm. Swimming, fishing, boating and surfing is just a sample of what you can expect to enjoy in the clear waters of Fanore's nearby Blue Flag Beach. Strolling along flat vast limestone pavement reveals an abundance of flora and fauna for which the Burren is renowned for.
Golfing in Lahinch, Traditional Irish Music in Doolin, Caveing in Aillwee Caves, Trips to the Local Islands are all ways you can experience Irish culture in the area.
