Stay in the heart of downtown in a recently renovated loft located in a historical building built in 1886, one of towns oldest buildings The entire building has been totally redone inside and out even with historical colors selected for the exterior.. Walk to all the art galleries, shops, and restaurants. Raft, kayak, flyfish, mountain bike, hike, ski/snowboard, sno-cat ski, golf, horse-back ride, soak at 5 different hot springs within 30 minutes, or just chill...something for everybody! The loft offers a peaceful, tranquil environment to escape from the hectic activities of life.
This unique 2nd floor loft style property has views of all the mountains, yet is right downtown, so you can walk everywhere. It has a gourmet kitchen, granite countertops, 12ft ceilings, exposed original brick walls, gas grill, washer/dryer, wine cooler, and feels like home! Two queen beds with Egyptian cotton, down comforters and goose-down pillows. Great for all seasons. Salida is the hidden gem of the rockies. Everything anyone could want is out my back door. The loft was fantastic. Beautiful furnishings, warm, a ton of natural light, comfy beds, wifi, cable tv...everything you would need. Though we spent most of our time outside enjoying downtown Salida and the great skiing at Monarch, when we were at the loft we were as comfortable there as we would have been at our own home. Highly recommended. Most definitely coming back and will stay at the loft if available.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Great location. Space in excellent condition. Peaceful, quiet, walkable to downtown, town park, and restaurants. Historical loft with beautiful finishes, and warm inviting atmosphere. Looking forward to staying here again.
