This is a fabulous house situated on a large flat lot that's located on a quiet street in Tahoma. The upper level offers a beautiful open living room, chef's kitchen and the master bedroom with a queen bed. The lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and the third bedroom has one bunk bed and twin bed with a trundle. The kitchen is well stocked and all linens and paper products are provided.
There is a small Homeowner's Association beach with a pier only one mile away. There is an option to rent a buoy with advance notice. Our home is walking distance to Sugar Pine Point State Park and a short three-mile drive to one of Tahoe's most beautiful beaches at Meeks Bay, featuring various boat rentals, a snack bar and free air station for your inflatables. In the afternoon you can enjoy a lazy five mile raft trip down the Truckee River from Tahoe City ending at the River Ranch Restaurant. Summer offers endless bike and hiking trails. The lakeside Bike Path to Tahoe City is just a mile away.
In the winter months, you are within 20 minutes from Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows and Homewood ski resort is a short 5 minute drive. Sugar Pine Point State Park has great cross country skiing. Our home is on a flat street with good off street parking which makes it very easy to access when it snows.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoma
We have spent time in many different areas in Tahoe but found that we enjoy our time on the West Shore the most. There is a wonderful feel for that part of the lake. And we love the location of our home because we are just a short walk to the lake as well as many hiking trails. And in the winter we are just 5 minutes to Homewood Ski resort and 20 minutes to Alpine and Squaw Valley ski resorts.

We have stayed at this house for the last three years during the ski season. We have had a fantastic time every trip. The house is very well maintained, well stocked, and clean. It is a great value when split by two families of four each. The layout is very family friendly. Having a two car garage is fantastic in the winter as you get right into the car with no clearing snow off. It is also in the last block of the street so it gets little traffic. The only thing we have been wanting was WiFi, which was recently added. The owners are friendly caring people. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house, comfortable, clean, big. We spent 7 days during New Years Eve and it was spectacular. The kids loved the house, the back yard where they have a few snow ball fights. Homewood is really close. we can not wait to come back again. Thanks.

We have stayed at the house for two night over the Thanksgiving weekend. This is one of the best cabins we have ever rented. It is beautifully furnished, very well maintained and it is clear that the owners put a lot of thought and attention on how to make this house an ideal getaway. If you like cooking the kitchen is well equipped, stocked and spotless as the rest of the house. The location is great too - quiet but close to many local outdoor attractions. It was hard leaving after only two nights!

We had an amazing time. Your place is so cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and decor was so beautiful. It was very relaxing and we loved how close everything was. It was so nice to not feel like we had to travel on our vacation. Thanks so much, we will definitely be coming back!

We had such a great time. Your home is so much fun. Lots of room to spread out and we love the decor, especially the bears (no not real, just very cute). The fireplace made for very cozy evenings by the fire. Location is perfect, close to Tahoe City, hiking, skiing, and of course, just a few blocks from the from the lake. A very relaxing time. This home is well kept, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. I love to cook, so appreciate a well stocked kitchen. It is obvious that the owners visit often and care about their property. I wish all rental home owners were this diligent!
