The world famous "Ringstrasse", State Opera House, the Imperial Palace Hofburg, St. Stephan's Cathedrale, the Museums Quarter, Musikverein and the Concert House of Vienna are also within walking distance.
Our rental apartment is offered as 1-bedroom apartment consisting of 2 separate rooms, a bedroom and a combined living and bedroom with free high-speed Internet access and computer workstation. Also a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer are available.

We found this aratment oln VRBO.comn and are so glad we did. The apartment itself was great, but even better was the location: it is immediately accros the street from an open air market selling fresh fruits and vegetables, grtape leaves , yogurt, etc. Even better it has too many restaurants to count ranging from so/so to spectacular. the two fish restaurants were top of the line. There is a suoer maret in the same building for eggs/coffee and the like. When you are ready to sightsee the opera house is 5 minutes way by foot and then you can walk throughhout the city center. The neigborhood was easily navigated and we found it populated even at night. The apartment itself had all conveniences: coffee pot ,range pots and pans, microwave. Internet was provided free. The bed was great and the owner could not have been more helpful.All and all this experience get top marks.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We loved the location of this apartment, with a great market only 1 block away. It was also within easy reach of the city centre, museums, Opera, Golden Hall, trams and trains. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and our only disappointment with the apartment was the shower. The bathroom itself was good but the actual shower recess and shower curtain were old and both had a lot of mould, which was unpleasant. It really needs updating and that would make a big improvement. Othewise, no complaints.

Location is great, 1 block from market, 2 short blocks from public transport, 15 minute walk to the City Center. Great wine bar (Eulennest) around the corner at Operngasse 30. Apartment was clean with good size bedroom, living room, and eat in kitchen. Never heard any noise from the street or other apartments, very quiet. Air conditioning was great when needed. Owner was very responsive when an issue with Internet access occured as well as any other questions that came up. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at apartment no. 5 four nights. The apartment consists of one bedroom and a living room. The apartment is great. Walking distance from Carl Platz and from Carneter Strasse Pedestrian promenade.The apartment is equipped is a very high level. The Bathroom, Kitchen, Bedroom, PC. Everything is great. The apartment has two air-conditions, which are necessary in August. A supermarket can be found in the apartment block. Family VOSHMGIR was very polite and helped us a lot. We fell in love with Vienna thanks to the wonderful apartment and the great treatment we got. We highly recommend this place.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

very convenient apartment , brand new . The Nashmarkt around the corner makes the location very attractive...you find everything you need in walking distance. And to visit the City...it takes 7 minutes walking to reach the Opera and the Center of Vienna. Nice to have the owner's daughter- in-law living in the building...she is very helpful in case of need. One major problem..the old PC works very slowly and you are better off bringing your laptop Otherwise great place ... also all plublic transportation: just 2 minutes walk

My wife and I stayed here September 9-14 of 2010. The apartment is very clean, has everything a person needs, and the "Hausmeister" is very helpful. It is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of major attractions and near public transportation. Would we stay there again if we returned to Vienna? Yes!
