The Pinehurst Resort is the #1 golf resort in America for "Buddy Trips" according to Golf Digest Senior Editor, Travel Matt Ginella. The Pinehurst Resort was named the #1 Golf Resort in America in the 2008 Reader Survey by Travel and Leisure Golf and 3 times out of four years from 2005-2008. Now you can enjoy all the amenities of the Resort without having to pay Resort prices when you rent our condo.
We purchased this first floor condo in May 2007 and completely renovated it with new kitchen cabinets and counter tops, a new bathroom vanity and new furniture and other furnishings throughout. Our condo is furnished like our home - because it is our 2nd home. We didn't spare any expense in renovating and redecorating it. Other condos listed may say "redecorated", but they may still have the original kitchen and bath that are 1970's vintage. Look at the pictures of our bathroom and kitchen. They have been totally redone. We didn't just paint the old kitchen cabinets. We replaced them with KraftMaid cabinets and Corian counter tops.
The condo overlooks the 2nd hole of Pinehurst #5 and has a great view from the 10 foot wide deck and through the 9 foot wide windows in the dining room.
If you want many of the services of the Pinehurst Resort including access to 6 Pinehurst Resort golf courses (including Pinehurst #2 – Home of the 1999, 2005 and 2014 US Open – and the 2008 US Amateur) without having to pay resort prices, please check with us. By staying with us, golfers can save up to 33% per round on the Pinehurst Resort courses over the public rate in the Spring and Fall.
Click on the the link for comments from previous guests. You'll find more comments from our guests than on any other listing for Pinehurst Condos. Why is that? Because all of our guests have been very happy staying in our condo. By the way, I can't edit any of the comments. They are exactly the way the guest posted them.
The North Carolina Pottery Highway is just a few miles east of Pinehurst. This small “Seagrove area” has been home to many potters since the late 1700s. Potters who grew up in NC pottery families, locals inspired by NC pottery traditions who learned their trade at Seagrove area community colleges, and potters from elsewhere attracted by the Seagrove pottery community run the nearly one hundred Seagrove area pottery shops.
Moore Regional Hospital has two fitness centers/spas available for you to use. The one in Pinehurst has an indoor heated pool, whirlpools, steam rooms and sauna, locker rooms and a complete array of exercise equipment. It opens at 530am M-F and at 7am on the weekend. The other is in Southern Pines and features an adults only facility. The Pinehurst facility has a Visit Pass Card that is $80 for 10 visits with no expiration. Call for more information. Since the Pinehurst Resort now charges for our guests to use the Carolina Hotel Pool, this is a very attractive option.

Renovated 1BR Condo with Pinehurst Resort Amenities
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Pinehurst
We visited the Pinehurst Resort in April 2007. While we were there, we fell in love with the Village of Pinehurst and the area - especially the Pinehurst Country Club golf courses. Before we left, we decided to buy a condo on one of the courses. We live most of the year in the mountains of Western North Carolina, but our golf courses there close in October and don't open for the season until June. That's why we decided to buy our Pinehurst condo. It's only about 5 hours from our home in the mountains, so it's easy to get to. We try to use it about a week a month from November through May.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo really is our 2nd home. We decorated and furnished it like we wanted to. We didn't furnish it like a rental unit. It has personality and is very comfortable and is located very close to the Village of Pinehurst, Pinehurst Country Club facilities and is right across the street from the Harness Track and the Pinehurst Fair Barn.
This is a popular place to eat for locals and visitors alike. It is right across Beulah Hill Road from our condo. During the winter and spring months, you'll see the trotters and pacers running on t

Super condo in Pinehurst

My wife located Hoyt and Susan's condominium on the internet while searching the internet for an apartment in the Pinehurst, N.C. area where were planning to spend Thanksgiving this year. From the initial contact with Hoyt, after deiciding to rent his condo, he was extremely helpful providing information about driving directions, scheduling golf tee times, etc. The condo itself was immaculate, comfortable and exactly what was promised in the way of location and amenities. It fronts the third fairway of Pinehurst #5 and is about a 5 minute walk from the Pinehurst clubhouse and 10 minutes Pinehurst Village. The interior has been recently updated and is very tastefullly decorated. The kitchen is fully outfitted (range, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffemaker, toaster, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, etc.). There is cable TV and DVD player, wireless internet and a telephone which can be used for local calls or long distance with a phonecard. It has two very comfortable single beds and ample closet and storage space for prolonged visits. There are coin operated laundry 50 feet from the back door. The covered terrace off the dining area is a perfect place to sit and relax with a beverage after a day on the golf course. The only negative that I noticed is that it is situated close to a busy street and vehicle noise can be a little intrusive in the bedroom early in the morning. But that was a minor problem and my wife and I are planning to return next year. It is perfect for a couple or two golfers.
Owner response:These renters loved Pinehurst so much, they bought a condo of their own. Here's the e-mail I recently received from them. Hi, Hoyt, We just wanted to let you know again what a wonderful time we had in Pinehurst last Thanksgiving and how pleased we were with you condo. We thought that you might also be interested in knowing that we were so enthused with the area that we began looking around at Pinehurst condos that were for sale during our visit and ended up purchasing a 2BR/2BA unit in Pine Valley this past June. We will be visiting Pinehurst for the first time as owners next month and then again in February and March and are looking forward to making this our second home in the future as we travel to the U.S. from Germany, where we currently live. I guess this proves the adage that "first impressions are lasting ones", as our first visit to North Carolina and to Pinehurst and the opportunity to stay in your condo were largely what influenced us to purchase a place of our own. And while we are sure that our purchase may be a small negative to your wish for repeat renters, it is because of the memorable experience we had last November that we have taken this step. Thanks so much for being a part of our decision to become part of the Pinehurst community. We will forever have fond memories of our first sojourn in N.C. We wish you all the best in the future. With Kindest Regards, Dick and Baerbel

First impressions mean a lot when you are going to spend two weeks in a place you have rented on faith. My wife and I opened the door and entered into a clean home that never disappointed nor surprised us. It was as advertised. Hoyt was accessible and a pleasure to deal with. The Andres even prepared a booklet with lots of helpful information about the condo and the area, such as TV and DVR operation, trash collection, local restaurants to try, etc. Should you be wondering what the downside was, if any, I could mention that the location, while quiet, was near a country road with traffic that could be heard from the bedroom. But in saying that, I will also state that it was not loud enough to be an issue for either of us in sleeping. Clearly we would recommend the Andres' condo to our friends, in spite of the fact that it might make it more difficult for us to reserve rentable time in the future. And we would like to return. We love Pinehurst.

My 3 Week Stay in Pinehurst, NC

This condo is fine for two people but too small to entertain in if you plan a longer visit and wish to do that. The decor is attractive and pleasing to the eye. Rt. 5 is a very busy road but we soon learned not to hear the traffic in the morning. The view from the livingroom onto the golf course is always pretty and sometimes most entertaining. We enjoyed our 3 week stay. The owners are pleasant and most helpful. The Chamber of Commerce in Southern Pines is your first stop for any and all information needed to enjoy your visit.

We were very pleased with our recent visit to this property. The condominium was nicely decorated, clean and had all the necessary amenities. From the deck, the view of the wooded golf course was most relaxing. The location was perfect, near: shopping, restaurants and most importantly golf. As we prepared for our first trip to Pinehurst, the owner was helpful in providing us with local information. Would recommend this property and we ourselves hope to return someday soon.
