On top of a historical building, on the very central and lively spanish square Plaza Reial, is this free standing oasis overseeing the old city centre of Barcelona.
Don't mind the building’s entrance hall as renovation work is being done on the ground level. The elevator will take you straight up to the 5th floor where you'll be welcomed in a bright and spacious duplex loft.
A space dominated by earth-like colors, whites and modern classical furniture complemented with North African artefacts. Wide windows along the east side of the building where the sun rises offer great views over the gothic quarter and the old harbor. The downstairs bathroom with a royal concrete tub ensures for a relaxing experience, undoubtedly appealing for bath lovers.
The staircase, a central sculptural element in the middle of the space, leads to the upper floor of the apartment. It is a majestic overture that is underlined by the grand sofa in the living area; a great spot to sink into with a glass of cava while listening to some music or reading a magazine.
Upstairs, the bedroom with a mirrored panoramic window, en-suite shower room and a 40m2 deck terrace with 360 degree views of the old city, provide the highlight of the apartment. A small foot-deep pool and shower on the terrace add to an already majestic sensation.

- The setting is as central as possible; right on the very Spanish Plaza Real, with its palm trees and fountains. The apartment oversees most of the old city centre, and is less than a stone throw away from Las Ramblas which is a haven for flower and bird lovers, and most notably, the ever increasing amount of living statues and portrait artists. It is no more than 5 minutes walking down to the beach and the old harbour with the Columbus statue. Venture off in the opposite direction to the Liceu opera house and a little more up the road you'll find the unforgettable Boqueria market. Behind the market, up in the Raval, is the MACBA museum of modern art with a nice inner patio it shares with the CCCB and the Laie art bookshop. With plenty of restaurants, boutiques, shops and pubs this is a very lively part of town, which luckily is not a problem when one's trying to sleep since the well isolated apartment towers above the rest of the area's buildings.
