The location of the hotel is excellent, steps to the beach, Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road Mall. It is our second time at the hotel and the renovations to the hotel area is a great improvement. The townhouse is well maintained and well equipped. The owner was plesant to work with and responded to all queries in a timely manner. The information in the listing was accurate and the photos were accurately represented the townhouse. We highly recommend this townhouse to who want to stay in South Beach, with or without children.

Great location, condo and amenities

Myself and a group of 4 girlfriends stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the condo. The condo has everything you need and is very comfortable. It is even nicer than shown in the pictures. The balconies are perfect for a glass of wine at sunset. I would recommend this condo for both young adults who want to enjoy all Miami beach has to offer or for a family beach vacation. Wendy is a real pleasure and all the transactions went smoothly.

I stayed at the condo with my husband, my brother, and sister-in-law for a weekend in February. Our group of 10 rented 4 units in the Shelborne from different owners so I got to see a few studios and this townhouse. To start, Wendy is extremely professional in setting up the condo rental. You will receive an official contract which you sign and return that explains the rental agreement. You send a deposit, and she mails you the key to the condo before you leave home. Our other unit owners were difficult to get in touch with, but Wendy always responded to e-mails quickly. The one thing I didn't know about is that there is a mandatory $150 cleaning fee in addition to your rental. All the units we rented had cleaning fees which ranged from $50-75, but this unit was significantly larger. The Shelborne is an older hotel, so the hallways are not always well-kept. The carpets were stained on our way to the townhouse. The unit is located on the mezzanine level which is the 2nd floor (all the townhouses are on this level). This unit is the closest to the hotel, so instead of having a standard balcony, your unit connects to the mezzanine terrace which is shared. When we were there, we were the only ones using it. The condo itself is lovely. The floors are tiled, which is great when you're coming in and out of the beach. It is bright inside and furnished in a cute, beachy way. The kitchen has a coffee maker and all the standard kitchen stuff. This helped us a lot, because we bought coffee and donuts at the Walgreens and our large group all had breakfast together each morning in our condo. Previous renters (or maybe Wendy) have left spices, condiments, etc if you decide to cook. All dishes/silverware are also provided. There are stairs next to the door that lead to the upstairs bedrooms that are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bath. The master has its own balcony which has an awesome view. The master is decorated with great, modern furniture. The 2nd bedroom is decorated probably for a child (pink flowered bedspread/canopy), but my brother and his wife were fine staying in that room. Overall, the condo is very clean, well-furnished, and plenty of space for 4 people. There are tons of beach toys, an umbrella, and a few beach chairs provided. If you are looking for a vacation with all the comforts of home, this is a great condo in the heart of South Beach. The beach and boardwalk are fantastic and the pool area very comfortable. The owner is terrific to work with! I hope to be able to visit South Beach and this condo again soon.

Our family loved the condo. The location is so close to everything, the pool and jacuzzis are very nice and the beach is perfect! The condo itself is very nice, well equipped and well maintained. There is a huge patio off the living room, which we had to ourselves during our visit!The owner is a pleasure to work with and is very helpful with suggestions. I can't wait to use this condo again!
