We had an incredible stay at Waipouli E105. It was myself, my husband and our 5 year old son and we felt like we were living in a palace! We are used to all sharing a small hotel room so staying in a 2 bedroom/2.5 bath condo felt very luxurious. The condo is clean, updated and quiet. We ate many a meal on the back lanai and enjoyed views of the Sleeping Giant (Kauai's beautiful mountains) and puffy white clouds over head. It is about a 1 minute walk to the pool and a 5 minute walk across the street to many stores and restaurants. We really liked that it is on the first floor so we could walk right out our door to many adventures. Another thing I really appreciated were the laundry machines which are located right in the condo. I don't like to pack a ton of clothes so having a washer and dryer is really convenient. We also liked the location of the resort...half way between the North Shore and Poipu. It was just perfect. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. I would move in if I could!!

Trip Advisor Guest Recommendation: Date of review: Mar 3, 2011 “Great place for family with small kids” "We had a 2 bedroom with twin beds in the second room. We rented E105 through Kauai Calls and all dealings with them were great. The price we paid was an absolute steal for the luxury and space of our room. Our unit was ground floor with a nice green belt outside. It did face diagonally towards the street but noise was a complete non-issue with windows closed at night. It does face a fire station so you will get some sirens during the day. The unit was nicely decorated and stocked. The bathrooms were huge and nice, with 2 large tubs and 2 showers. The central location is nice, aspecially given that the beach was not really swimmable. It was beautiful though and reminded me of a Corona commercial. Lydgate park is a short drive sough and great for swimming and snorkelling. The unit has a few grocery stores very close by as well as Starbucks, McD's, Burger Kind and TacoBell / Pizza hut. We had a few good meals for dinner and a few not so good. All meals out were expensive by mainland standards so it was nice to be in a condo with a great kitchen. The on-site restaurant has a happy hour which was nice. Food is good but portions are very small even for tapas, and quite expensive. Budget $50 per adult if you don't want to leave hungry. The pool areas and water slides were why we chose it and did not let us down. The kids spent hours on them while I sat poolside with my own store bought beer and sodas. I wish the snack bar was serving but it wasn't used for anything but to cook the Tapas for Oasis. If you have kids between 4 and 12 this is a great choice if you don't need and on-site swimmable beach. With this great pool you may not. BTW the internet was slooow most times if that matters." We just returned from a ten-day stay in this unit and it was a great trip. This is our second stay at Waipouli Beach Resort and we highly recommend this location, especially for families with kids. We enjoyed having a ground-floor unit this time for space to play and eat outside. Our only complaint about this particular unit was the lack of adequate kitchen supplies. There were no sharp knives, not enough of each type of utensil, and only one pot with a matching lid! We met friends while there and their unit was much better stocked in terms of dishes (versatility and number of items) but not as good a location. Overall, we had a great stay and this unit met the needs of a family of five quite well.

We have stayed in E105 two times and am in the process of booking #3! Leslie is a doll to work with and we love the privacy and open feeling of the lower unit...even with adult 'kids', it's nice to be able to step outsite on to the grass and the pool and ocean are just around the corner! Lovely accomodations, so clean,new and beautiful...feels like a luxury vacation! Can't wait to go back!

Your unit was very very well equipped, decorated, comfortable and on and on. I don't believe we have ever rented anything so nice. Plus we think advertising on VRBO is a great way to go. We comb that web site quite often.

This was the first time we used the VRBO site and we had concerns. However, we encounterd no problems at all. Leslie was a pleasure to work with. Because the unit was not being rented the day after our departure she allowed us a very late checkout (8pm). This was great because our flight wasn't until 10:30pm. That gave us almost another full day to enjoy the island without worrying about a noon checkout. The unit itself was very clean and nicly appointed. The pool area is great. If there is a down side, it is that there really isn't much view of the ocean from the unit. That was okay with us because we spent most of the daylight hours outside doing things or laying around the pool. That also saved us some cash as the ocean views are more expensive to rent. From a location standpoint we liked it because it was equal distance from the north shore and the west shores. It's about 45 minutes to the North shore and the Poipu area. It is 1hr 15 minutes to Waimea Canyon. Miles wise its not that much farther but the road is curvy and there are lots of places you stop to take pictures Bottom line I would rent it again the next time we go back to Kauai.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your condo E105 in Kauai. The place is fantastic and the ground level unit worked perfectly for our kids to have access to the grass area. Lots of room for them to play and it was quite private. We weren't over crowded in the unit either since the kids are pretty small so were okay with them sharing in the double beds. My mother opted for the sofa bed and she said it was quite comfortable. Staff was great even though we were VRBO. Very friendly. I have recommended your unit to some friends of mine and I am positive that we will want to rent from you again. Again thank you for sharing your unit with us.
