In addition to the private dock, the home features 5 Bdrms + sleeping loft, 3.5 baths and a driveway that can easily accommodate multiple vehicles / boat trailer. Guests can also enjoy the use of 3 person canoe for those fishing trips or maybe just a relaxing stroll on the lake.
MAIN FLOOR: Bedroom 1 / master suite is located on the first floor and is equipped with a private bath and outdoor covered porch with sitting area. The family room has floor to ceiling windows offering incredible views of the property/lake and also includes HD Flat Screen TV/Satellite, VHS and DVD's. A full kitchen and dining room is connected to a screened porch and a large private deck with a Weber gas grill. The unobstructed views of the lake are breathtaking from this 1+ acre property.
UPSTAIRS: Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, Bedroom 3 has 2 single/twins and they connect to a full bath. The upstairs also includes a loft + sleeping area with a foosball table, DVD's, VHS, satellite TV and various board games for your enjoyment.
WALKOUT: additional 2 bedrooms + full bath. Includes 2nd Master with king bed and 5th bedroom with 2 log bunk beds - twin over full. The walkout patio also features a 6 person hot tub overlooking the lake.
OUTSIDE: The slope to the lake is gradual and can be accessed by adults and children of all ages. There is also a deck mid-way down with spectacular views of Norris Lake. Adjacent to the deck, enjoy late nights with family and friends around the fire pit.
Boating Life Magazine referred to renting a home in the New Tazewell area 'a great call' because the relatively rustic Norris is separated from the busier Norris. We loved the peace and quiet,the weather was beautiful and since it was Spring we got great views of the Lake from the house.It was beautiful,very clean and very comfortable .We had cell phone service also WI FI.The rental price was the best in that area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

By far one of the most relxaxing vacations i have had. The house is perfectly situated where you feel like you have your own little corner of the world. The dock is just a short walk down the steps and we were able to keep the boat withus the entire weekend. My only recommendation to people towing a boat in is to drop off the boat at Lone Mountain Boat Dock, which is real close to the highway. This limits the use of the boat trailer brakes and car brakes on the up/down hills to get to the property. We had a great time and I highly recommend. We will definitely be staying again next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Loved this property! We have been going to Norris Lake for the last 8 years. Usually staying near LaFollette area, we decided to give this part of the lake a try. Wow! What a great time. The home was perfect and only steps from the lake. The kids used the canoe provided, fished, water sports and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The cleanliness of the property was certainly noticed and homeowners provided everything we needed. Can't wait to rebook next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is an awesome Norris Lake House! My family has stayed in this house every year for the past four years and are scheduled to return for the summer 2012. The house has everything that you need and then some. It is very clean. The rooms are set up perfect for a couple of families. The screened porch is great for morning coffee or evening drink, as is the deck overlooking the lake. The hot tub is great for the end of the day. The dock is fun to swim off. We have had up to 3 boats on the dock. There is plenty of room to spread out. This is our favorite part of the lake. It is not overcrowded like other parts of the lake. The mountain views are beautiful. We have stayed in many other houses at various areas of the lake. I would definately recommend this house. The owners are great to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a perfect place for our Girls Getaway. The house was true to it's advertising and looks just like the photos. The owner called after we arrived to make sure everything was all right. Everything was there that we needed. We floated on the dock, fished, took some great pictures of the lake, had fires in the evening and soaked in the hot tub. We visited the local winery about 25 minutes away. You do need good legs and back because it's 96 steps down from the house to the dock and what goes down must come back up. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends or relatives. It would make a great place for a family reunion.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We currently live in between Cincinnati & Dayton, Ohio in Springboro. With 3 kids in activities we don't make it down to the lake as much as we would like, but it certainly makes us appreciate our time on the lake.
