Because we live locally, we actively update the house and grounds through out the year. We do this to make sure that the house always feels fresh and updated.

-Groups looking for an affordable and more flexible accommodation based on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis.
-Planning a wedding? Family Reunion? Or just a group get away? We are very close to the L'Auberge Resort and Spa, yet so much more affordable. Put out of town guests in an elegant fully furnished house in stead of a hotel room.
-Located just 2-3 driving minutes west of the 5 freeway it is also appropriate for short term monthly rentals to corporate executives who are here in San Diego on temporary work assignment. You are approximately 30 minutes from the San Diego international airport.
-Local families who need a temporary but fully furnished home that have access to excellent schools.
-Families vacationing who prefer to have more space, privacy, and flexibility than a hotel.

What we like about this house:

Lots of natural lighting through out the house. The ground floor of the house has almost all windows facing the back where there are lots of green trees and plants. There's a peaceful art/reading room where I like to read.
The house is situated in a very private neighborhood off of Jimmy Durante Blvd. While the neighborhood is family friendly, it is not a track home community. Each home in the neighborhood is unique.
The second floor is spacious featuring an open floor plan where the kitchen, dining, and living are all together. The vaulted wood beam ceilings combined with the warm yellow tones gives an elegant cabin ambiance.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, italian granite counter tops, dinnerware, cookware, glass ware and cooking spices.
A common question we get is "Do you have central Air condition?" YES we installed a new central air and heating system so that you and your guests are comfortable all year round.
2 T.V.'s in the house:
60" HDTV upstairs in the main living with DVD. Another TV downstairs in one of the queen bedrooms.

Why the Owner Chose Del Mar
This is a great vacation spot because you have access to world class golf resorts, we are only 10 minute walk from the beach. This house is always is IDEAL for the Del Mar Races because of it's location, comfort, and size. We are walking distance to the restaurants, bars, and the village.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We have a pool table / bar room for people to hang out. Downstairs has lovely natural lighting as there are floor to ceiling windows that make you feel like you are outside and surrounded by greenery. Our garden / yard is filled with flower and fruit trees, great for kids to hang out and entertain themselves safely.
We are a 5 minute walk to the Del Mar Races / Fairgrounds. Our house is attractive to Horse Jockey's, Horse owners, and usually books out immediately because of it's location and amenities.
You can walk here and there are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shopping.
You can walk here and take the kids to play at this lovely lovely park that overlooks the beach.

This lovely home has been in the family for years. It was completely remodeled in 2007. We grew up here attending the local schools and surfing the local beaches. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Del Mar. The house worked very well for 6 adults and 2 kids. The location was great...easy access to beach, San Diego, etc. Would definitely consider again.

Thank you Au-Co for letting us rent your beautiful home! Our group of 8 had a wonderful time there over the 4th of July. We were close to the fair and to the beach, plus we had a perfect view of the fireworks. The house had everything we needed and we were very pleased with all the room we had. The pool table was lots of fun and the yard was so beautiful. Your home is the best vacation rental we have stayed in!

My family of five stayed at Au-Co's Del Mar house during Christmas week, and couldn't have been more comfortable. The house was in great shape...no issues with heating and such, as has been the case with some other rentals. We didn't cook THAT much, but it was great having a fully-equipped kitchen available (including coffee and filters...much appreciated!). The beds and couches were very comfortable, and the house lay-out gave us plenty of room to spread out and pursue our various activities in peace. We sound like couch potatoes, which is pretty accurate, but also enjoyed the walk to the beach and hanging around "downtown" Del Mar. Au-Co was great about following up on my queries during the rental process. We hope to return!
