Casa Bonita offers two completely separate two bedroom/one bath flats, which can be rented individually or together. Each apartment is virtually identical in floor plan except for a few minor features which are outlined below. Both units are decorated beautifully and uniquely. All beds are brand new (july 08) and are posterpedic super soft. The queen beds have pillow top mattresses.

UNIT A is the lower unit of the four-plex building and has a larger living room. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. As you can see from the photos below, the decorating is dramatic and beautiful. It has a warm, cozy feeling right as you walk in the front door, with an incredibly comfortable couch to snuggle up and ready a book or watch a movie. There is also a great picture window at the front of the room. The dining room has a wonderful, large table which seats six comfortably if you would like to have guests over for dinner.

UNIT B is the top floor unit and features a Lanai on the front of the building. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Aside from those two unique features and different decoration and furnishings, the units are identical. This unit is much lighter, airy, soft in tone, neutral in color. The light flows through this unit and the breeze cools you as it passes through the large paneled windows.

You may want to rent a two bedroom apartment, or you may be traveling with a larger group and need 4 bedrooms and a potential to sleep a maximum of 10 people. If available, both units can be rented concurrently. EACH unit has its' own private front and rear entry, private laundry, parking space, portable/window air conditioner, and a unique charm which is sure to welcome you on your trip to Los Angeles.

This property is decorated tastefully with a modern but elegant touch as shown in the photographs below. This building was recently completely remodeled with brand new kitchen and bathroom and all the latest appliances and comforts. Immediately upon entering the apartments, you will feel right at home and begin relaxing in your private getaway nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. This quiet neighborhood provides solitude and peace and is also close enough to the main attractions in LA to provide an overwhelming number of choices for food, entertainment, tourism, shopping and personal convenience. The other tenants in the building are very friendly and quiet.

Each apartment boast 1250 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, high ceilings, formal dining room, huge living room, beautiful hardwood floors, soft natural travertine tile, separate shower and bath tub, private washer and dryer, and off street parking.

Feel like spending the afternoon at the beach? Drive 20-30 minutes to the popular Santa Monica or Venice beach. Whatever reason you are visiting LA, you will not find a better location to stay. Casa Bonita is located near the intersection of Beverly and Fairfax on a small quiet and safe street called N. Sierra Bonita Avenue. It is situated centrally between many of the historic neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Hancock Park, Miracle Mile and Fairfax Village.

Each unit is assigned a uncovered parking space and/or garage for off street parking in the rear of the building. It is recommended to drive medium to small automobile to comfortably make the turn required in the narrow driveway. Large autos or trucks will have difficulty maneuvering around the back of the building and are not recommended if you plan to park off street. Parking assignments are determined upon time of confirmation.

    • A fantastic location. We felt like we lived in LA. Our experience of LA would have been not so good had we stayed in Downtown. The location of this apartment was fabulous. Within minutes drive of Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood sign, CBS Studios, Farmers Market... just to name a few. The apartment itself was well equipped and suited my partner and I, along with her 2 sisters who stayed in the twin room. Will definitely return if we're ever back in LA. Thanks Scott.

    • What a fantastic apartment! It's like a hideaway tucked behind everything you need. The place is really big, which suited us perfectly. My mom and her sister were comfortable in the twin room and we were completely happy with the baby in our room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Each morning, we took a stroll to the farmers market for coffee and breakfast, loving being in the warm LA sun. This location can't be beat. It's an easy drive to my family in Santa Monica, just a few minutes to Beverly Hills, and there's tons of convenient shopping, including a Whole Foods to stock your pantry. We can't wait to come back to Casa Sierra Bonita! Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay here. We felt like part of the neighborhood.

      What a lovely place you have on Sierra Bonita - it met our every need! If you ever need a guest reference feel free to share my e-mail address. Location is great - 15 minute walk to the Grove or Farmer's Market where you can shop "European" style, visiting the butcher shops, fish market, produce stands, bakery, etc. to bring back and cook, or just get take out from La Lotoria for Mexican or Gumbo Pot for Cajun. It is just as easy to walk up to Melrose for all the funky shops and fun restaurants there - recommend the 8oz Burger Bar, LA LA Argentine Grill, and Star of India (try the Chicken Tikka Masala) , and didn't have time to get to Antonio's this trip but we will be back! Nakkara on Beverly, Cobra's & Madador's, and Budda's Belly are practically next door on Beverly - we left several menu's in one of the hall drawers. For a "low tech" guy got all the TV's, VCR's, fans, wireless Internet (with your help) to work and even hooked up my satellite radio to the stereo system but just can't figure out how to post these comments - we had a most enjoyable six weeks - take care - Kim Huffman - Atlanta, Georgia

    • Casa Bonita is a charming retreat right in the heart of Los Angeles action! The property is adorned and decorated tastefully with a wonderful flow to the floor plan. Scott (owner) is meticulous with the property and has provided excellent client services. Our only regret is that we did not book the unit for a longer stay. It was a fabulous place to come home to at the end of a busy day. Any guest will not regret their stay here. Thank you for the experience!

    • Hi Scott, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LA thanks to such a well equipped and comfortable apartment. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated. We stayed with our 3 year old and 5 month old baby and our stay was seamless. We had no problems finding the key, however negotiating that drive way does take some practice! We never envisaged being able to have windows open in LA as the place has such great security too. We didn't see a neighbour and the street was so quiet.     • This is a super rental. We, a family of 5 rented this property for two weeks - it was wonderful. Everything you could need, lots of space, in a quiet area but close to lots... museums, shopping etc. We hope to be back again soon and will recommend you to anyone we know travelling to LA.     • This is a pearl in L.A.! dont miss to stay in this really beautiful and with a lot of love to details designed apartment. Beware you dont want to leave again, because you feel so so comfortable here. We were three people staying for two weeks, and had plenty of room for cooking, dining together at the really beautiful table in the dining-room or just relaxing in the cosy-clean livingroom. One thing I have to mention in particular is the all-over color-scheme in this apartment. You can tell someone really has a hand for interior design. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but you will have all the L.A. attractions 5 minutes away only. The famous Sunset and Hollywood Blvd with the "Walk of Fame", of course the "Chinese Theatre" and lots and lots of events around your Hollywood Stars on these streets alone. Melrose Ave. with nice stores and the best "Johnny Rockets" in the area. Right around the corner on beverlyBlvd./kings rd. is the "kings cafe" for breakfast or lunch, also the L.A.-style diner at beverly and genesee almost next to it. "The Grove" and "Beverly Mall" to finish your shopping stops and wring out your credit cards. Plus the "Newsroom" cafe for lunch with a good view across the street at the "Ivy's" and all the big time stores around on Robertson Blvd. with lots of papparazzo action for free (if you are there on starlet shopping time). Your two options: Enjoy L.A. here or buy your own house in the same street. A special thanks goes out to the owners of this apartment. They both were more than nice and helpful to us - any help you may need is just a phonecall away.

    • This property is absolutely stunning in such a lovely neighborhood! Scott is a pleasure to work with and he provides you a home away from home. I highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to be close to great attractions and hot spots in the LA/Hollywood/Beverly Hills area, but still want privacy. I would definitely rent from again.
