Located in the gated community of The Plantation and on Apalachicola Bay, this home is close to all the Island has to offer. Tennis courts are less than 200 feet from the back door and you can walk to the Bay in less than 10 minutes. In addition, the community club house, pool and boardwalk to the beach are less than a five minute car drive away.
The house itself is surrounded by State land assuring that the privacy and views will are protected during your visit. This home has 5 balconies, all with a westward view to provide excellent views of the bay and spectacular sunset views over Apalachicola Bay. Nature lovers can also take advantage of the decks to view the dozens of species of indigenous birds that visit the bay canals, from magnificent osprey that nest in nearby trees, to cranes, heron, pelicans, and bald eagles that are constantly flying overhead.
This house has all high end amenities including stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, tile floors, many windows, and a fireplace for those cool fall nights. All three bedrooms have bathrooms, TVs with DVD players, and fully stocked linen closets. The house also has a half bath on the second floor as well as a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Very Private and well maintained home. Excellent views and close to all the area has to offer. We loved the privacy and the walks to the Bay. Great Fishing! Thanks for letting us rent the home, it was a excellent vacation and we will be back.
