We worked with Judy Aufdenspring for well over a year in planning this trip. If you want a problem free vacation--both in planning and in the time spent, choose to work with Judy. She has been the most pleasant with whom to work. In every incident when her attention was needed she attended it immediately, then followed up multiple times till completed. Chocolate Sundae appliances are top quality--everything functions; the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The pictures on this website accurately describe what we found--a dream house. Time for orientation to a new place is precious. Judy took care of that too. She has developed a binder with information about everything one needs to know--about the house; about the area; places to eat, things to see. . . And Judy's pre arrival information email is the best we have ever seen. Everything one needs is within walking distance or a very short drive (grocery stores 2.0 miles away). At least one member of our family was at the beach every morning to watch the sunrise. An equal number walked to see the sunset. And the sand is pure white. Need good wind to fly a kite with grandchildren--here you are! Looking for a beach property for up to 10 or more people? THIS IS IT! We plan to return!!!!

We have returned home from a wonderful vacation at Chocolate Sundae!! First I would like to say that this is the 11th home that we have rented through VRBO. Judy was the nicest owner to ever work with. Her home is tastefully decorated with all new kitchen and downstairs bath. Make sure you take a bath in tub you will love it. LOVED having a seperate ice machine, which would come in very handy during summer mos. Judy has EVERYTHING at her home...beach chairs, umbrellas, grill, every baking dish and cooking dish you can imagine, movies, books (great for rainy days). We have stayed on the other side of Seacrest Beach and enjoyed this side more. Chocolate Sundae is a short walk to pool and all the little downtown shops. Make sure to get sour cream doughnuts at the truck...but get there early!! Thank you Judy for sharing your wonderful home with us.

My husband, myself, and 10 other adults stayed at the Chocolate Sundae over Labor Day weekend. We were going to be in the area for a wedding down the road in the Seacrest area. The Chocolate Sundae could not have been any better suited for our weekend. The house itself was fabulous! The decor, bedding, towels, and kitchen area were very nice and everyone was able to move around without feeling like we were crowded. The house was immaculate, and we had plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone's needs throughout the weekend. The area in which the house is located is extremely beautiful, and the pool area provides more than enough room for a crowd, and is family friendly with shallow and deeper pools. In looking around the Chocolate Sundae, it is most definitely family friendly, having all the necessary "infant/toddler/child supplies". We weren't able to use the beach area across the road because of Tropical Storm/Depression Lee, but had a wonderful time at the pool (the one sunny day)! Due to the rain, we spent part of a day at Pier Park which was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday morning. I would highly recommend the Chocolate Sundae to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway. The house was wonderful.....even with a lot of rain!

We enjoyed our stay this past August at Chocolate Sundae. It was exactly as described and provided all the amenities we needed. Our family has been traveling to Seacrest for the past several years with two other couples and several children. There was adequate sleeping space for all of us; each family taking their own room and we were even able to bring babysitters and give them the room downstairs. Thanks Judy for everything! We will be returning. We love Seacrest and love this house.

Wow, I can't say enough about Judy and "My Chocolate Sundae". Judy was such a pleasure to work with, she answered all of our questions, addressed any concerns, and helped in every possible way to make this a relaxing vacation. The house is SO organized, and has many extras to offer. The beach towels were fabulous and anything you needed for the beach was right there...beach chairs, unbrellas, toys, boggie boards, coolers....she's thought of everything! We were traveling with several small children and anything we could need was provided (highchair, toys, pack/play). The location of the house was great...an easy walk to the pool or to the shops. The kids really enjoyed having the empty lot beside us to play outside while we relaxed on the big front porch. We cooked almost every meal at the house-the grill was great and the kitchen was fully equiped with anything we could possibly need. Our group has been to Seacrest several times, and working with Judy has been the best experience we've had. This house was a PERFECT fit for our family and left nothing to be desired! We will definately be staying at My Chocolate Sundae again....hopefully, for many more summers! I would not hesitate to recommend this location for anyone staying in Seacrest.

5 stars on this one!! Loved the CHOCOLATE SUNDAE!!! It had everything! What was so impressive is that Judy had the "little things" in mind...extra paper plates, towels, etc. And having all the beach items was FANTASTIC!! The beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, coolers...all we really needed was our suits and clothes! We had two families for the week and there was plenty of space!!! The kiddos just loved having their own rooms!!! And the TV's in every room was a definite plus! Judy was so accomodating...any question that we had, she was right back with us with an answer. A++++++ The location of the house is great...literally a block from the pool---which is AMAZING. The kiddos loved being able to ride their bikes everywhere!! We also want to say that the new Mexican restaurant was great!!! Great addition to the Seacrest area!! Also, we also returned to Angelina's for Italian...just one of our family favs! We've rented several times in Seacrest and this one tops it off!! Would most definitely recommend!!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

Our family of 9 (grandparents, children and grandchildren, ages 6, 3 and 1) thoroughly enjoyed our week(June 24 - July 2) in beautiful Seacrest Beach at "Chocolate Sundae". We love the 30A area and this home helped to put it at the top of our list for future visits. The descriptions, photos and wonderful touches were all as described. Upon arrival we found everything in order and ready to make us feel right at home. Judy was wonderful to work with and stayed in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed....and has done such a wonderful job with supplying the home with all the things you need to make your stay so very enjoyable. The pool was FANTASTIC, the grandchildren LOVED it, and the tram to the beach was very helpful although the walk to the beach is not bad if you don't try to carry to much(as we always do) I would definitely recommend this home and location to friends and family. As for dinning out we always enjoy "The Red Bar" near Grayton Beach(carry cash or check) and this year we tried out The Great Southern Cafe(I recommend "Grits a Ya Ya") and The Melt Down (airstream trailer that serves gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches) both in Seaside. Hope your stay will be as GREAT as ours was!!!! THANKS Judy!!!!

This was an excellent vacation property for my family, sister in laws family, and inlaws. We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 8 and under. All we had to bring were our clothes. Judy has the house very well equipped. The kitchen was very well stocked so you can cook all your meals at home. There were plenty of items for the beach including lots of towels, chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc. All of the baby equipment including crib, walker, highchair, toys, etc had me sold instantly. The house is very nicely furnished and there is nothing shabby in it! She was excellent to work with and easy to get in touch with for any of our questions or needs. I hope to be back again for another family vacation!!!

We booked this wonderful beach home only one week in advance. We were blessed to have found not only the perfect location, but also the perfect home. We traveled with another family, 9 of us total. We had 3 teenage girls, and two boys, who were 10 and 11. We had more than enough room, and everything we needed! This was our first experience staying in a house located in a resort, rather than a beachfront condo. We all, including the girls, loved it! I will never stay in Destin or PCB again, 30 A is my new favorite! The home had so many extras, and the resort is simply amazing. We rode bikes, walked for miles, swam in the pool, rode the waves in the gulf, ate amazing donuts from Charlie's Donut Truck, and explored so many amazing places that 30 A has to offer! Thank you for a wonderful week, we will be back!

We just returned from our stay. It was so wonderful that I couldn't wait to write this review. The preliminary steps in securing the property were simple and Judy was very gracious. Upon arrival we found the home to be just as stated in the listing. NO surprises! The home is so complete that all guests need to do is bring clothing and grab some food at the Publix or Winn Dixie just a short distance away. There are plenty of toys for children, all the umbrellas and chairs you need, and coolers for the beach outing. There are plenty of towels. The young grandchildren didn't want to go home. The home is very clean. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. All of the appliances work and are higher end. The free wireless connection was a nice feature. The proximity is close to restaurants and shops at Seacrest as well as Rosemary Beach. In summary I can honestly say that this rental was worth every penny we paid for the fun and enjoyment our family was able to share in clean, comfortable, and fun surroundings.

"Chocolate Sundae" was everything we thought it would be and more. The house is awesome and has anything you could ever need. The ice maker was a huge HIT! The beds are very confortable and the kitchen is huge. Loved how close we were to the pool and the awesome golf cart pick up for the beach. The house was perfect for 6 couples and not cramped at all! Judy was incredible throughout the whole process and such a joy to work with. We had a blast and will definitely be back in the future.

We just returned from a stay at the chocolate sundae. It was everything I hoped for and more. Highly recommended for families especially little ones. The accomodations and immenities were very much thought out and of high quality. You will not have to bring a thing except your bathing suites and sunscreen! I have traveled much and stayed in many 5 star accomodations, but this was the first time I actually felt right at home. The entire community was very nice and the pool was great...not to mention the wonderful beach. We walked to Rosemary beach everyday for a wonderful lunch and shopping. Great location. If I had two complaints, one would be a need for a child gate for the stairs....maybe I just missed it in one of the many closets, and that I did have to leave and return back to "the routine" of life. We will be back. This time with the entire family.

Chocolate Sundae was a renters dream. Judy has truly thought of everything... All the little extras meant so much. We had 3 family's with 5 children under the age of 3 and the little things meant so much. It meant less things for us to have to bring! The paper plates, napkins, paper towels, beach towels, pack n play, stroller, crib, high chair, coloring books, storage containers, toys, pool floats, ... the list goes on and on... This place is super nice, super convenient and we loved it and our vacation!! Thanks for everything Judy!! We hope to visit again the same time next year... but this time stay for the whole week :)

The home is beautiful and has many things including spices in the kitchen that make it feel like home. It is a short walk to the beach and pool if you decide not to take the cart. Several restaurants and snack shops are a short walk and the kids enjoyed being able to walk for a snack by themselves. We are looking forward to retuning again soon.

What a wonderful time we had at Chocolate Sundae!! The Gulf was sparkling and clear. All that press about the oil spill should have never reached Seacrest Beach. We neither saw a trace of it nor smelled any of the vapor associated w/ fuel. The beautiful home is well appointed w/ lots of family amenities to convey that we are the family's guests. The beds are comfy and the linens are soft w/ a high thread-count. The bath towels and beach towels are as absorbent as ours at home. It's the finest home we've ever occupied in Seacrest Beach, and we eagerly look forward to returning next summer.

My family stayed together with another family (4 adults, 4 kids, total) and there was more than enough room for all of us; we actually could have easily accommodated 2-4 more people. Judy was wonderful to work with, always very responsive to any concerns we might have. The location was steps away from the Mexican restaurant, and a 2-minute walk to the beautiful community pool. We enjoyed all of the extras provided at the house -- it was great not having to travel with our own beach towels or chairs! We would definitely recommend this house to family and friends, and hope to return soon!

After several other stays in Seacrest, this house is my favorite. Judy has left nothing out from great DVDs to well stocked kitchen to even q-tips and cotton balls in the bath! Beach toys and kids' activities (wagon & scooter) meant kids were entertained. I will always want to come back to Choc Sundae - it will be the top standard against which I would measure any other property. Thanks Judy for being such a gracious and accommodating hostess.

We just returned from our visit at "My Chocolate Sundae", all I can say is that it is a great home and Judy was wonderful to work with! Our party was 7 adults and 5 children (3 were age 3 and under). We felt we had plenty of room in the house for all of us. The bunk beds were a hit for the older kids and having a crib already set up was a blessing for my one year old. I think one of the kids favorite items was the kids table near the dining room table. The five kids sat there together for meals as well as to color. As for the adults we loved the balcony and all of the features of staying at a home. The pool was a block away so after a morning at the beach we could go to the pool after dinner. Great Location and Great House!

We have stayed in Seacrest several times and this is the best house we've visited! Spacious and many extras. You're around the corner from the pool and just a few steps from the great mexican restaurant. Perfect for a family reunion or families with babies. Judy has thought of everything and she has many extras in the kitchen. If you forgot to bring it, chances are she has it already there! We will definitely be returning! Our family of 6 adults, 4 children, and 1 baby had a great 9 day vacation here at Chocolate Sundae. Very kid-friendly and baby-friendly home. Also very well-maintained and comfortable and spacious accommodations. Loved the kids kitchen table - just the perfect size for them. The pool is great, as well as the golf cart to the beach. We had a great time riding bikes around the Seacrest neighborhood as well as along 30-A to Rosemary, Inlet Beach, & Watersound. The owner was nice to work with and very responsive to any questions we had!

We really had a great time at the Chocolate Sundae! There were 14 of us and still there was plenty of space to spread out. We visited Florida over Easter break and Judy was thoughtful enough to put up some Easter decorations and even left some Easter treats for the kids. Working with Judy was always pleasant and easy, she was very helpful and informative, willing to do what she could to make our vacation an awesome experience. The Seacrest Beach area is spectacular! Would love to come back and visit in the future!

We just had the priviledge of staying at "Chocolate Sundae" for 2 weeks in June and had a fabulous time! It exceeded all of our expectations and was literally sad to leave at the end of our 2 weeks! Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with, always so friendly and helpful! I was so surprised and pleased with the quality of the appliances, all you need and more! My favorite thing was the ice maker (which is seperate from the fridge), we're thinking of putting one in our house! I would highly recommend this house as we throughly enjoyed our time there and all the amenities of staying in Seacrest Beach. The pool was great and it was nice to have the golf cart take you to the beach. A truly wonderful, stress free vacation! Thank you Wilkerson family for such a wonderful experience! Looking forward to staying there again in the future! T

This is a wonderful house with lots of space and close to everything. The large pool is only half a block and the beach is across 30A. The tram service to the beach is great. We have two small children and the house was very kid friendly too. We would recommend this house to others and would stay here again in the future. Jennifer is also really great to work with. We truly had a wonderful vacation. Your home is spacious. We have two young children and there was plenty of room for toys, etc. The location is great. We could walk straight down the street to the pool or just a few minutes to the beach. The tram made it so convienient to take whatever we needed to the pool or the beach. Your home is welcoming, has a very open floor plan in the living area, and was clean and inviting. We were happy to have plenty of sitting space for our family to gather together. The kitchen was also supplied well. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy. We had a lovely time.
