Northstar is one of the most 'family-friendly' resorts in the country. You can leave your car in its parking place for your entire stay and take the SHUTTLE BUS (5 minute ride door to door) throughout the Northstar property: Ski Mountain, Village w/Ice Skating, Shopping, Starbucks, Dining, Galleries and Recreation Center w/Fitness Center, Sauna, Massage, Teen/Game Center, outdoor family size hot tub, etc.
The historic community of Truckee is six short miles out of Northstar, filled with wonderful shops, restaurants, music, galleries and services. Lake Tahoe and all of its related sports & activities is a short five minute drive and offers a large Safeway for grocery shopping.
Northstar-at-Tahoe is located forty-five minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, 120 minutes from the Sacramento Airport and ten minutes from the Truckee-Tahoe Airport.
