Hi Lynn, This is our second stay at your cozy condo. The re-do on the couch and new bedspreads are beautiful. Once again we were very happy with the accommodations. We enjoyed our best vacation ever in Maui :) I would definitely recommend your condo to friends and family. We are already talking about our next trip back :) Thank you!

I took this condo because of it's location, and a good price. The location is just what I wanted centrally located about 15 minutes from the Catholic church in Kihei, Less than twenty from the Airport, and 20 minutes from Lahiana but not during rush hours. The location at Maalea Bay is perfect, last on the row of complexes with a small public park overlooking the condo. Before I arrived the park had me worried but it was fine, it's a small county park and they had people clean up every morning, I did not like the leaf blower after 7AM, ha! Liked watching the local people and it was only lightly used and quiet after dark. Maalea Bay is very windy but I don't mind wind except one day of the two weeks when the wind blew at more than 30 miles and hour and dust was picked up from the surrounding hills, you could feel it but I just kept my back to the wind on the beach or at the pool. The complex itself is fine with an X police officer as on site manager which I liked. It was well decorated with flowers and well maintained, it was also generally quiet in my two weeks. One minor negative is the septic system is pumped once a month and I arrived at the end of the month and there was an aroma within twenty feet or so, as you go to the parking lot. You could not smell it in the condo at all and when they pumped it at the start of the month I could not smell it. There was enough parking but don't know about peak season. As for the condo itself everything worked, and it is decorated nicely. You can see the beach and at night the lights from Kihei and the town of Kula on the volcano, nice view and the sun rises right over the mountain. The only complaint I would have is the twin bed's mattress by the window is very squeaky and the sofa while very soft is very worn and should be replaced. Only had one insect in the condo in two weeks excluding flies which I thought was not bad for the tropics. Overall I would certainly stay at this complex again and for the right price would stay in this condo! I'm not sure the complex is the best for small children, maybe to quiet and they might like a heated pool. Hope this will be usefull to someone.

It is often a concern for people and really it's just a little, local park that only gets noisy on a major holiday and even then it's not usually a problem. The entire couch is being removed and fully recovered very shortly! The fabric was ordered in September. It's going to look magnificent. I will check into the bed as soon as I get there. Aloha Lynn, Hi as you probably may or may not remember we just finished our stay at your home in Maui. Lynn it was wonderful! I'm not one who usually takes a "chance" on unknown accomodations, however you were true to your word. Your home is lovely, well positioned and the grounds were great. To be honest I am selfishly reluctant to tell others about the best kept secret in the "Hawaiian Islands". This was the best vacation I have had. Mahalo.

This is a great location adjacent to miles of beautiful beach coastline and a bird sanctuary and with wonderful views of the bay and the Haleakala mountain from your lanai. Maalaea is centrally located for your travels on the island, yet peaceful and quiet for your time just relaxing in this wonderful condo. A book provided by the owners with helpful information on things to do will help you enjoy your stay. Mahalo!

Aloha! Another great stay here in Maalaea! (second time in your condo) We love the cozy atmosphere, great location and friendly people. The whales put on a great show right in front of the condo for days ... it was magical. Mahalo .... until the next time!

We fell in love "again with Maui for the 2nd time. I'm glad I chose Maalaea Bay rather than the well manicured lawns of Wailea condominiums. The central location makes it easy to go everywhere.
