Completed in 2004, Ocean's Edge Villas is privately gated and the property has been occupied by a single tenant since 2007. It is now back as a vacation rental and available to fulfill your vacation dreams. Ocean's Edge is a Caribbean paradise located in the gated community of Sydney's Fancy. Built on a partial peninsula, the 370 ft. of waterfront encompass a 230 degree ocean view, including more than ten islands and cays stretching down the Drake's Passage. A private, infinity edge pool awaits a morning swim while sipping coffee on the pool deck. The spacious great room adjoins a gourmet kitchen, replete with stainless GE Monogram appliances or fire up the Weber charcoal grill cradled in the rocks adjoining the kitchen. The famous Magen's Bay beach and Fazio-designed Mahogany Run Golf Course are each within a five minute drive. Evening entertainment might include a movie from the DVD library on the 50' plasma TV and surround sound system. Each air conditioned bedroom is separately temperature controlled for your comfort and equipped with cable TV and a DVD player. Wireless DSL service is instantly available to the entire upper house and pool.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. The villa was absolutely gorgeous and the location and views were unbelievable! I don't think there is a better place on St. Thomas than relaxing on the patio by the pool while listening to music. It was such a pleasure being there. My family and I stayed at Ocean's Edge Villa for one week in August 2008. The pictures don't do this place justice! The house is perched on top of an ocean cliff directly above the Caribbean Ocean. The view alone is worth the trip. Relaxing by the pool and taking in the breathtaking view never seemed to get old. The property is in a very private location just a few minutes drive from the nicest beach in St. Thomas (Magen’s Bay). There is plenty of fun stuff to do nearby including water sports at Coki Beach, shopping in Charlotte Amalie, and exotic marine wildlife at Coral World. I also recommend taking the short ferry ride to St. John for a day of snorkeling and relaxing on Trunk Bay. The house itself was immaculately clean and well equipped with many useful amenities. We rarely ate out because the kitchen had everything we needed to make just about any home-cooked meal. The guest cottage was very nice and also had a deck for taking advantage of the property’s phenomenal view. We had an issue with the outdoor grill not working but the property’s management company was very responsive and immediately sent someone to fix it. We also had a problem on our day of arrival; the person scheduled to meet us at the airport was not there when we arrived. He had to be called and we ended up waiting at the airport for an extra hour. Not a huge deal however we were fairly anxious to settle in and relax after a long day of traveling. The only other drawback was that the main living room and kitchen did not have any A/C. This became somewhat uncomfortable due to the high Caribbean temperatures. We tried opening the doors but most of them did not have screens which lead to mosquitoes getting into the house and biting us. The mosquitos were plentiful and particularly aggressive. Essentially the living room and kitchen were off limits for a large part of the day. It seemed odd that a house this nice would not have A/C in such an important area of the home. Despite the few minor drawbacks, the house was amazing and allowed us to have a spectacular family vacation. I had never stayed in a vacation rental before and this was an awesome first experience. I would definitely go back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay at Ocean's Edge Villa on our first visit to St. Thomas was phenominal...............Perfectly appointed villa, breathtaking views (pictures cannot capture the unbelievable beauty), priceless family time. The infinity pool and pool area are awesome, the bedrooms and baths spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the great room inviting and the media room well stocked with dvds and games and a great plasma tv. Staying at Ocean's Edge is truly paradise. The house and its fabulous views would just take your breath away. Everyday we felt like we were in heaven. Sitting at the pool with the surrounding ocean was just spectacular. We are already planning our return trip and hope to make it a yearly event. I went on this trip with 3 of my friends in June 2007. The house was ABSOLUTELY beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures! A nice host met us at the airport, followed us to the house and showed us how to work everything. Our first evening we did encounter a couple of glitches, but we called first thing the next morning and all of the issues were immediately resolved. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the views were spectacular. You didn't even have to lift your head out of bed to see the ocean. It was very close to the beach and everything on the island was pretty easy to find. The house was well taken care of and just amazing. We would definitely recommend renting this property and you need at least a week. You never get enough of the view and it pays to see at least one rain storm come in. The only thing I would recommend is that if you are not coming in couples, this house might be too small for 8 people. We were fine with our 4 but more would have made it too crowded and the 3rd house bedroom with the twin beds in it is a little small for even an average adult to sleep in. It is definitely meant for children. Overall a great experience, I would highly recommend this property!Owner response: FYI, the "twin" bedroom which is referred to has two standard size twin beds that are easily converted to a king bed at the option of the guests.The bedroom itself is the same size as the "canopied" bedroom pictured on this site and the full bath attached has separate sinks for two and a large walk-in, fully tiled shower.
