A vacation to remember

We had the best vacation last August while at your house! It was perfect for our family of four and friends family of five. The furnishings are beautiful and well taken care of. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the screened in porch and everyone felt as if they had their own space. The beach access was a quick walk with the kids or we took advantage of the shaded parking by the beach access entrance. We are already planning our next vacation at your home. I would highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation with friends and family.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Needs a lot of TLC. My husband spent 2 hr cleaning pool (above ground) and deck had to be cleaned (granted a lot of trees in backyard but we all have pools and knew this hadn't been cleaned in quite some time). The basement where the pool table was located hadn't been cleaned and it was musty and no ceiling fans and what lights were there (not ceiling lights), the bulbs were burned out. Back yard looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was food left in the refrigerator and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Had to wash dishes before using (greasy film). There was a hole in the downstairs bedroom ceiling and one in the the bathroom ceiling (looked like the tub upstairs had leaked). It was a bit of a walk to the beach but no problem with that. It definitely needs some painting and minor repairs. All in all, we made it doable and had a good time but would not go back.

Owner response:thank you for your feedback. We have fixed the water leak in the master bathroom. We are in the process of updating the house. Several of the projects are new leather furniture for the family room, updated kitchen appliances, pressure wash and paint the deck area and upload new photos to the web site. I have addressed the landscaping concerns and will be taken care of this weekend.

No Beach Access

Beach access is at least a half mile or more away from home. It would be impossible to make it in a 2 to 3 minute walk as described. Good home for a large amount of people looking for 2 1/2 - 3 star accomodations that don't mind driving a short distance to the beach. Home was moderatley clean. Furniture in and out needs to be updated.

Owner response:The beach access is one block away with 1/3 of the walk under beautiful folage. As for the house, everything is clean and in good condition. The pool area and patio area are currently being updated. Thank you for your feedback.

We absolutely loved this home. There were ten of us and were perfectly comfortable. Some of us were at the pool, some at the beach, and some playing foosball at any given time. It was a great time and thank the Wubbena for the great memories.

We have just returned from this property after the Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful time even though it was a bit rainy because of the recent hurricane. The home is large enough that even if you stay inside you feel very comfortable. I must say it was a very relaxing and enjoyable time for us all. We fell in love this home.
