Amazing Getaway

We needed a little break from our busy work schedule so we planned a quick getaway at this amazing lake house on Lake LBJ. It was my husband and two boys, ages 13 and 10, and our friends with their two kids, ages 3 and 5. We had the most amazing time! The house was just perfect! We had plenty of room for both families to enjoy each other during the day, and then our own space at night to enjoy our privacy. The kitchen is very large and enabled us to all cook our meals together. We played board games at the kitchen table and we had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and watch TV in the living room. The upstairs bedrooms were very spacious and the master bath was great with a spa tub and private toilet area. We took our boat because the property has its own boat docks and ramp just steps away from the house. It was awesome to wake up in the mornings and get a surf session in before the day became too hot! The house and lake were perfect!! The owner of the property was wonderful to work with as well. We couldn’t have had a better time! We will come back to this beautiful lake house every chance we get!

Amazing Lake Views

What a great place! When they say waterfront, they mean it. Views from every room of the lake, and the lake is 50 feet from the back door! A huge deck upstairs where we could walk out of the bedroom and sit and watch the water. Same from downstairs, the deck runs the whole width of the house! This is a big house with lots of beds, great for our large family. Kitchen is bright and open with plenty of supplies to cook, and there is a big grill outside. The host was very helpful with local knowledge. The place was very clean, which was important to me. We will be back for sure!

Our week in Sunrise Beach was amazing. The rooms were spacious with modern amenities. The large family room felt cozy with ample seating around a fireplace. With 5 adults we appreciated having two and a half bathrooms and a spa tub in the master. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of counter space. We barbecued and dined on the deck with a fantastic view of Lake LBJ. We enjoyed cruising on the lake, lounging on the porch, and day trips to Fredericksburg, Austin & San Antonio. This house was in the perfect location. It was extremely clean and was nicely decorated. There were plenty of beds, chairs and couches for a group. There were plenty of houseware items in the kitchen, so we didn't need a thing. There was a charcole grill on the lake view porch and plenty of chairs to hang out and cook out with a group. There is a boat dock at the house. We had an awsome long weekend. I highly recommend this property for rental.

We decided to sneak up to Lake LBJ for an early spring vacation and found a little slice of heaven here. The lake was all ours - the kids could wakeboard for like 20 miles without turning the boat. We kept the boat in the boat slip on the property. The house is big, comfortable and has everything needed for a family vacation. Can't wait to come back this summer! Thanks Eddie, you are a great host!

We enjoyed a great family weekend at the Sunrise Cove Lakehouse on Lake LBJ. The house is beautiful and spacious with plenty of room for 15 people. The views of the lake are great from every window in the house. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and boating and just relaxing on the beautiful decks. The hospitality of the owner was exceptional. We will definitely plan on returning for another visit.

What more does a family of 4 plus 2 in-laws need for a mini vacation...nothing! Eddie has done a great job of making sure everything is taken care of. From the linens, utensils & cold blowing A/C. Not to mention a great place to dock your boat as well. I would highly recommend this beautiful house, property & boat docks to any group or family that values a great location and view by a lake. Two thumbs way up!

Our family had a most enjoyable weekend. It's not every spring break that you actually have your own penninsula. Mr. Brown was a wonderful host and we look forward to returning at a future date.

We loved this property! It was bright, sunny, has a gorgeous view of the lake from every room, and included everything we needed. The drive from Austin is gorgeous, and there is a real hometown feel all around Sunrise Beach. One day on the lake, and you'll be packing your bags to move! We will definitely come back, and highly recommend it!

What a fantastic property! The setting was beautiful and peaceful. A great place to get away to. I was also pleasantly surprised at the number of golf courses that were in close proximity to the property. Golf and water sports, what a way to spend some time away from it all.
