We spent 11 months looking for the perfect place at Wintergreen. In all we went into 17 units. The most important thing to us was to have a spectacular view, not just one from the living room and dining room, but the master bedroom as well. Our view will knock your socks off. We also wanted to be able within walking distance of the golf course, tennis courts, the swimming pool, spa, and just to be able to be walking for the 'health' of it. We can do all these things!!
The next thing that was important to us: the newest construction possible. There is only two condo complexes newer than ours. There are all sorts of advantages with newer construction; higher ceilings, modern appliances, stand-up shower, less need for repairs, etc.
The last thing that was important to us was a good local management company. We have yet to go into our unit, and it not be spotless. We will give you contact information in the rental contract so that during your stay if any problems arise you will have someone to call.

To give you an idea how very nice 1822 really is, renters came to stay in August of 2002. They were so taken with the place--they bought it!! They have been too, too kind and have let me hang around to look after things. Best of all, they let us come to stay in our old condo ourselves when we can get there, so we can see for ourselves how great it continues to be. And now they have just refurbished the unit with new carpeting, granite, tile and fixtures in the kitchen and baths. Come see for yourself what we all like so much about it.

- Mountain View: Sits out on mountain ridge with tremendous views. There is none better at Wintergreen. You also enjoy sitting by the fire. There are plenty of books and board games in the condo if you need any additional entertainment....

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
The most important thing is the view. It is incredible. It is also nice that the swimming pool, golf course and tennis courts are close by and in walking distance. A new cafe, the Black Bear, across the street, serves coffee, sandwiches, snacks and entrees, has large TVs, fireplace, and wireless. There is shuttle from our unit to the ski slopes and Mountain Inn, shops, and so on. The Black Rock, Market by the Mountain Inn, as well, sells all that and more.

My name is Peter Cole and I am the owner’s representative. I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Woody in the picture. Spends most of his day in the chair across from my desk watching me work.) and favorite; loving husband. As a Medicare-card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my mother could never bring herself to call it a job) was to take teens on cross country camping trips; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew Doug slipped into my shoes as I slipped into my retirement. My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew. Now 14 properties fill my stable. It was 1967 when I took ownership of my first rental property. In the years since, we have bought and sold 11. I come to you with a lot of experience.
