Accommodations: Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 5)
We spent 11 months looking for the perfect place at Wintergreen. In all we went into 17 units. The most important thing to us was to have a spectacular view, not just one from the living room and dining room, but the master bedroom as well. Our view will knock your socks off. We also wanted to be able within walking distance of the golf course, tennis courts, the swimming pool, spa, and just to be able to be walking for the 'health' of it. We can do all these things!!
The next thing that was important to us: the newest construction possible. There is only two condo complex newer than ours. There are all sorts of advantages with newer construction; higher ceilings, more modern appliances, stand-up shower, less need for repairs, etc.
Our purchase was in 2001. We spent the next few months completely refurbishing... new carpet, putting in ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and dining room, painting throughout, etc. Hanging on the walls is our collection from years of traveling in the western part of our country.
The last thing that was important to us was a good local management company. We have yet to go in our unit, and it not be spotless. We will give you contact information in the rental contract so that during your stay if any problems arise you will have someone to call.

To give you an idea how very nice our place really is, in August of 2002 we had renters in. They were so taken with the place that they bought it!! They were too, too kind to let me hang around to look after things. Come see for yourself what they liked so much about it.

My name is Peter Cole and I am the owner’s representative. I wear many hats: an oceanfront, resort, rental condo owner; property manager; rental agent; dog tender (That is Woody in the picture. Spends most of his day in the chair across from my desk watching me work.) and favorite; loving husband. As a Medicare card carrying senior, I look back over a full life. My chosen life ‘occupation’ (my Mother could never bring herself to call it a job) was to take teens on cross country camping trips; 3000 teens in all, spanning 33 years. My nephew Doug slipped into my shoes as I slipped into my retirement. My friends and relatives worried about my having too much time on my hands in retirement so they gave me their resort properties to manage. My reputation as a good manager/agent grew. Now 12 properties fill my stable. It was 1967 when I took ownership of my first rental property. In the years since, we have bought and sold 11. I come to you with a lot of experience.
