This is a four season cabin located in a private setting on a back road in Jamaica. Summer & Fall relax to the sound of Ball mountain brook just off the deck. In winter, enjoy the wood stove after a day on the slopes

Located 10 minutes from Strattons Sun Bowl, 30 minutes from Manchester shopping, 10 minutes from Jamaica State Park, & near hiking and canoeing in the Green Mountain National Forest.

This cabin sleeps 4 in one double bed and 2 bunk beds with 1 bath, Includes a full eat in kitchen with all utensils, refrigerator, microwave, living room, sitting area with wood stove, dining area, telephone, & CD player. This is a place to get away from it all! There is NO cell or TV reception all the better to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 1999

My wife and I purchased the cabin in 1999 as a second home. We enjoyed the beauty and laid back lifestyle of Vermont along with the genuine four season aspect of the state. Over time it became harder and harder to return to our busy suburban lifestyles and in 2004 we decided the time was right to move north permanently! We currently live in central Vermont and have kept the cabin as a special weekend getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Jamaica

The cabin is located on a quiet well maintained back road right on Ball Mountain Brook. Sitting on the deck with the sound of the brook is the most Idyllic and peaceful time I can imagine. The village of Jamaica is one of those eclectic even a little quircky places that drew us to Vermont in the first place.

Walking our dogs along the brook. Reading by the fire in winter or next to the brook in summer

    • This cabin is a perfect place to relax in a serene surrounding but is not to far from the action of Stratton Mountain and Manchester. Everything that you need for a getaway is readily available and it is very comfortable to sit by the wqoodburning stove and read a good book (there is a large collection at the cabin.) It is also nice to eat breakfast in the kitchen while watching the brook through the window. The village of jamaica is really cute and everyone is very friendly. My husband and I stayed there 13 weekends during ski season and we enjoyed our time there very much. The owners of the cabin, Ed and Ruth, were always very flexible and accomidating. I would definately recommend this cabin for family's or couples.
