Welcome to Las Palmas Del Mar, our elegant, highly upgraded SUNSET VILLAS condo, perfectly located in WEST END Village on Roatan in the Bay Islands just off the mainland of Honduras in Central America. West End is the center for almost all of the “nightlife” on Roatan, so there will be many restaurants and nightlife spots that you can easily walk to from our condo. No need to rent a car when you stay with us, except for maybe a day tour of the East End.
This air-conditioned condo offers two large bedrooms (with king bed and 3 twins,) and two full baths. It is beautifully decorated in a tropical island palm motif, completely equipped with all the extras—fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and dishwasher, cable TV, VCR with DVD/ CD/VHS, private washer/dryer, and a BBQ grill. There is an internet cafe only two blocks away. Enjoy the comfort of this upstairs condo in its own separate building with private lawn, driveway and carport, all within the guarded Sunset Villas complex. Truly a place where your Roatan vacation dreams can come true!
Take a nap or read a good book in the hammock on our veranda. Swim in our beautiful private community pool. Take a dip in the Caribbean after sun bathing on our pristine white sand beach just one block away. Sit on the dock and watch magnificent sunsets you won’t forget. Take a nearby water taxi to West Bay for even more beaches. The “Blue Channel” dive sight is located on the pristine coral reef directly off our dock, and the snorkeling is outstanding. Stroll through the many West End shops for authentic Honduran keepsakes. For the adventure seeker learn to dive or snorkel the pristine reef, kayak, swirl down one of four canopy tours, visit the Iguana Farm, take a Glass Bottom boat tour, windsurf, visit the Botanical Gardens or Butterfly Farm, take a mangrove boat ride, rent scooters, charter a fishing or sailing boat, visit the Cameo Factory in Coxen Hole, or horseback riding.

We rented the entire Villa for our extended family of 8. It was nice to be so close to everyone in the same building. We used the hammocks a lot! The units were larger than other condos we have stayed in, and that was just perfect for us. We will definitely be recommending your place.

We found the "perfect spot" here in West End. First class everything. What a relaxing time we had at the more than Olympic Size pool, and we will return to the states with quite a tan. We came for the scuba diving and found a couple of great dive shops nearby (Sueno Del Mar and Coconut Tree) that filled our every need. The waters are beautiful and even the kids had fun snorkeling right off the beach! This is a great place to stay for sure.

Wow, what a great location! With so many wonderful restaurants within five minutes walking distance, why even cook (although the kitchen here is truly gourmet)! We have just loved the pool and beach so close by. We truly have enjoyed ourself at Las Palmas Del Mar and are thinking about coming back next year! We would love to rent the same condo.

If you are looking for the BEST LOCATION for georgous beaches, diving/snorkeling, swimming, great restaurants, and fun shopping, then stay at Las Palmas Del Mar and Las Palmas Verde! This Villa is beautiful and very comfortable. The pool is fantastic and yet the beach is just a short one block walk away! We found this Villa in Sunset Villas to be very true to its advertisement. We hope you have as much fun as we did on Roatan Island. The Walker Family

We stayed in Las Palmas Del Mar with out 2 children for a week in April, 2007. There was plenty for the kids to do. They especially liked the pool and snorkeling at the beach. The water taxi to West Bay beach took only 10 minutes! Even though it is a beautiful beach, we were glad that we picked West End for our vacation accommodations. We enjoyed the Palm decorations throughout the Condo and found it very comfortable.
