The owner provided great communication. The property was just what we needed, especially if you want access to the golf course (it has a good nordic track for skiing). It's just out of the town center so you won't have to deal with noise. The place is very comfortable and we'd definitely rent it again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad you all had a good time! Come back again soon. You received gold stars as guests from my property manager by the way. She said you left it in perfect condition to do the cleanup for the next house guests, thank you, it was appreciated!

We had such a wonderful time at New Year's staying in this spacious, comfortable home. We loved the kitchen with everything to cook up a feast especially because we wanted to enjoy New Year's without the hassle of driving and finding a place to eat. We skiied, shopped, went to fabulous restaurants and really relaxed which is what we wanted to do. Whitefish is just a short drive and easily walkable in the summer, the ski hill is about a 20 minute drive, Kalispell is about 20 mins. Overall the place is homey, well appointed and perfect for families or several couples. I can't wait to go back in the summer and enjoy all Montana has to offer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Always very happy to hear happy vacation stories! We have yet to enjoy the winter activities of Whitefish ourselves as that is our busy time in Mexico where we have a restaurant and I sell Real Estate, however it's one of our favorite places on the planet, the town, its surrounding environs and the people are simply fabulous and it's so nice to hear when our guests concur.

This was our second stay at this Townhome. This unit was very comfortable for two couples or a family. If you golf, close to Whitefish golf course. Twiilight on the south course very reasonable. Great place to relax. We'll be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We just love return visitors, hope you can make it back again soon! P.s. in response to the South courses advantageous twilight rate, I find it a more challenging 18 holes as well. Hence my propensity to play what I consider the easier 18 on the North course, ha! Ha! Both are beautiful in their own right tho, however only the South provides a twilight rate, just so ya know.

Been to Whitefish many times. This was a girls 40th Birthday trip:) The house was great, looked better than I expected. Beds were comfortable, clean, lots of towels. There was every condiment in the kitchen you could ask for and floor mats in the kitchen were so comfortable (gotta love the memory foam) The second night we realized there is a free ride to and from downtown (how nice is that) the number is on the fridge(the condo is only a few minute drive from downtown). No complaints whatsoever, it was a fantastic weekend and a perfect place to stay. Owners was very easy to deal with and friendly. Thank youRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad you girls had a good time, come back and visit again soon! p.s. My birthday is Wednesday and I oh-so-wish it was my 40th again...

We had a great stay here. It was about a 3-5 minute drive to downtown Whitefish and about 15 minutes to Big Mountain ski resort and 10 minutes to Kalispell for shopping. The beds were comfortable and the owner was incredibly accodomating and helpful. The kitchen was well outfitted (just like a home), unlike many rental properties with "just the basics". I would recommend this to friends and family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad to hear your vacation was fun and satisfying. Keep in mind you might want to come back for golf and/or shopping and relaxing when it warms up there as well!

We had a wonderful stay. There were 5 adults and the townhome had tons of room and all the necessities (even sugar, coffee, saran wrap, foil, and all those little things that are nice to have but a pain to pack!). We really enjoyed our stay, the townhouse is beautifully and comfortably decorated, the rooms and living areas are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It was convenient to downtown although it would be a LONG walk in winter and we didn't do it. Short drive to the ski-hill and shorter drive to downtown. A great value, we will likely be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad you all had a good time, thank you for the kind words about the rental!

My family and I spent a week at the condo. The property owners are easy to work with and we had a great time. The condo is in the perfect location between public access to Whitefish Lake and the downtown area. It is also in a great location for a day trip to Glacier National Park. The condo is nicely furnished, clean, well supplied and very comfortable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was my first VRBO experience, and my only fear is that it may have set the bar too high! The property was perfect, exactly as described. Very clean, well decorated and appointed. My group had 4 adults, and there was definitely space for more if needed. The wireless internet was definite plus, as was the satellite TV. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives, and will certainly look to book it again the next time I return to Whitefish. The directions, list of local attractions, etc. received from Eva was a great help, and we totally loved our dinner at Tupelo! I simply could not be more pleased!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this immaculate townhome. We had lots of room; the bathrooms had plenty of countertop and drawer space. Also plenty of closet space. The kitchen was well appointed for those who wish to cook. Living room furniture was very comfortable, as were the beds. We also enjoyed Whitefish, and attended a festival in the city park that was taking place during our visit. Good restaurants. The property is within reasonable driving distance of Glacier Park (absolutely awesome) for day trips. This has been our best VRBO experience to date. We highly recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Spent my birthday weekend with family and friends at this Whitefish condo. The accomodations were great - everything you need is available. The condo was super clean and nicely decorated and the beds were super comfy. It is conveniently located near the golf course, hiking trails, the lake, the ski hill and downtown. I would definitely recommend this condo and don't leave Whitefish without going to the Tupelo Grille - it was fantastic. The Bulldog is also a great place for a burger!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a nice townhouse. Views of Big Mountain from the main living room. Large living/dining/kitchen and big bedrooms, very nicely furnished, cable and internet, they even had an incredible smoothie making machine. Won't even look for another place next time I'm headed to Whitefish. We went there to ski/snowmobile, but the golf course is right next to the place. Very easy place to find and get to, but far enough back from main roads and few neighbors around so you feel secluded. You cannot go wrong with this Townhouse. Thanks Eva Marie!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks Eva, our stay at the fox hollow townhome was awesome, we enjoyed the location and the privacy. The home was very warm and comfortable, everyone enjoyed their own tv's in their rooms and you had everything that we needed! The mudroom was perfect for all our gear after a day of boarding(very roomy). We will definitley choose the fox hollow townhome again, hopefully very soon.Did you find this review helpful? Our family often comes to Whitefish at Christmas as our daughter lives here. We've rented on the mountain and near town, but this was a winner. I'm an avid cross-country skier so being close to the golf course trails was a plus, but it was also an easy trip up the mountain and close to restaurants and shopping. We loved having a garage and the WiFi and the overall comfort of the place. We will most likely be repeat visitors.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have just enjoyed our second stay at the 227 Fox Hollow townhouse in Whitefish, which totally reinforced the reason we chose to return! The condo is quiet, yet close to downtown Whitefish and golf as well as quite ideal for families. The view of Big Mountain from the private deck is awesome and the townhouse has beautiful decor for inside relaxation. We also typically attempt to remain caught up with work when we travel, which makes the wireless Internet inside the home an extra bonus. This is definitely one of the most ideal vacation homes we have enjoyed during our many years of travel!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This condo was absolutely perfect for our 5-night vacation for our family of 5. It was well decorated, very large rooms, wonderful kitchen and an amazing location. The view of the mountains from the balcony was so relaxing, the kids loved having TVs in their rooms, the master BR closet was the size of a small bedroom (so jealous!) and even the pantry was enormous. I can't think of one thing that didn't turn out great. Also nice experience with owner dealing with reservations and arrival. This is our 5th VRBO rental, and definitely the nicest property we've stayed at. We have family who live in Whitefish, and I'm guessing we'll be back at this condo again soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This place was great! My wife attended a Pediatric Conference at Grouse MTN Lodge which was a 5 min walkaway. We had 6 People in our party...4 Adults 2 Teenagers. We all had something we liked to do from Skateboarding at the SkatePark to Shopping in Kalispell to Swimming in Glacier Natl Park. The Townhome was fully furnished and decorated with Mountain themes. I am looking forward to visiting again next year a great place for all the family and the locals were wonderful..DSDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great place to stay! Our family of 4 was able to spread out comfortably and the multiple TVs and WIFI were a hit with the teenagers. Most grateful for the air conditioning as it was very warm in the region during our visit. Looking forward to our next stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband and I just made a visit to Whitefish with my parents (who were visiting from Australia) and this condo proved to be ideal. Very comfortable, well equipped and great location. The beds were extremely comfortable which is always a key requirement for us and the wireless internet access came in handy (some of us couldn't quite let go of the office...). We would highly recommend for a short or extended stay and the owner was very responsive and delightful to deal with.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This townhouse was perfect for our family of fours' two week stay at Christmas 2007 / New Year 2008. We are from Whitefish and have a vacation home that is being remodelled so chose this townhouse for the holiday. The location is perfect ... it took us exactly 15 minutes to reach Big Mountain ski area and the townhouse is next door to golf and one minute from downtown. The townhouse is fully outfitted for visitors and beautifully decorated. It has an attached garage, which in winter is really nice to avoid clearing snow in the morning! I think this is better value than most Mountain Harbor or Whitefish Lake Lodge rentals. We'd stay again and are recommending to friends and family visiting Whitefish.Did you find this review helpful? Location is perfect - close to town for shopping and restaurants, close to great golf, skiing, fishing and hiking. The owners obviously take great pride in this beautiful home. Having been a guest at this vacation rental for 2 weeks in September, I can assure you this townhouse offers an extraordinarily comfortable "just like home" living experience. It's got all the extras, incl WiFi, TV's in each room, and a fully equipped kitchen. It is perfectly located for summertime activities - golf & boating. In fact, it's only 300 yards to the first tee! And, it's only a 25 minute drive to Big Mountain Resort for you skiiers.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
