Within 6 miles of this affordable, quiet residential neighborhood duplex you will find the fun & happy Hawaii: Ko'Olina resort area with public access to the 4 lagoons & plenty safe water snorkeling /swimming with picture perfect weather, Hawaiian Adventures Water Park, Island Mini Golf Park, Nimitz Beach, White Plains Beach (aka "2nd Waikiki Beach"), 3 Golf courses: Kapolei, Ko'Olina & Coral Sea, 2 of Hawaii's best luaus Paradise Cove & Germaine's. Restaurants: everything from fast-food, great local plates to some of the finest resort dining......All within 6 miles. Our favorite: Pick up "local plate" dinners to-go, drive to the beach and watch the turtles play in the surf, the sunset (watch for the green flash), or watch as evening falls on Waikiki and the city lights begin to twinkle.

Shopping for gifts, souvenirs, clothes etc...the Aloha Stadium swap-meet is great, get there early it gets pretty warm by noon. Then head over to the Arizona Memorial, it is another experience that's a must for all.

  • Aloha Michael and Terri: Thank you for letting us rent from you during the time we spent on Oahu. The rooms were so nice and clean and comfortable. It was easy to relax and feel "at home" there. The bananas and Christmas peppermints were a welcome treat. We didn't spend our time cooking, but were grateful that anything we would have needed in the kitchen was available for our use. I'm not a decorator, but I enjoyed the fun island decor that enhanced the rooms and helped us feel "truly Hawaiian". We will certainly let our friends know of your rental! Again, thank you for all you did for us. You have been wonderful to work with. Have a great New Year. We hope we can visit again in a few years. Larry & Bobbie

  • Both of us highly recommend this great vacation rental! We relocated here and needed a place to stay while we looked for our own home and we absolutley loved it! So much in fact that we bought a house in the same neighborhood! The rental was stocked with anything you would ever need and was very spacious and beautiful on the inside. Everything in the rental was brand new. There are 2 lanais in which to relax and eat at, the front lanai has an unbelievable view that is a great sight to come home to! This is one of the best deals in Hawaii, it's minutes away from everything. The owners are 2 of the best people we have ever met. Such a great place! Telling all of our friends and family about this one! Mahalo again, Michael and Terri!

  • Our stay was fantastic, the location was perfect and close to family, the quietness of the area was great and the view was breathtaking.Terri & Mike welcomed us and were very nice. Our next trip in in the planning stages and we plan on staying here again.

    Michael & Terri really love Hawaii & they want all their guests to experience the beauty of the land and the graciousness of the people. Their Makakilo sanctuary affords easy access to great beaches and lagoons as well as all the major Oahu attractions. We swam, snorkeled, explored, climbed a mountain and truly enjoyed the beauty of the flowers and white sandy beaches.
