It's all your choice!Town or the beach or just one block away.
Long Beach has great restaurants and shops and stores to find trinkets and souvenirs to merchandise meeting the most discerning style. Walk a short distance to Long Beach's boardwalk, hit the beach, take a drive (either on the beach or along the Peninsula). Also, antiquing is an excellent pastime in Long Beach with so many antique shops to choose from or spend some time in Ilwaco at the Saturday Market or cruise through the shops on the waterfront...

Why the Owner Chose Long Beach
We love the Peninsula and had always wanted to provide a place for friends and family to come and enjoy with us. When Nahcotta came available, we saw the potential for fun place for people to enjoy themselves and have worked for over three years to finish it with great detail for family fun!
The Unique Benefits of this Lodge
Nahcotta is set privately just one long block to the beach and one short block to town. Its unique location makes it fun to shop in town, go out for a latte, go antiquing, clamming on the beach, fish or fly a kite! The many great restaurants in Long Beach are also just a walk away.

My family just returned from Nahcotta Lodge and had the best time!! The house worked great for us. We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute of it! Plenty of space and very nice. We were overdue for a vacation and this was perfect. So close to the beach and to downtown. We couldn't beat it. We hope to spend another vacation here someday.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had a great time at the lodge!! We were very pleased with the amentities! The lodge had almost everything we needed. We have a couple of complaints, but nothing that can't be remedied. We arrived at the lodge and found dirty linens in the main bathroom. We had to was these linens and make up beds before we were able to sleep. The house definately could have been cleaner. Maybe you should look into the cleaning company you have coming in. I felt like $65 in cleaning fees should have provided us with atleast clean linens and toilets. On a positive note, the house provided plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable. There were 11 of us total and we were super comfortable! The location to the beach and downtown was perfect!! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We had a blast and would definately return!! We have recommended the place to family already! thanks for a great time
