  Dear Keith, I wanted to thank-you so much for your hospitality when we stayed in your beautiful bed and breakfast. It was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time and I hope to one day stay there again. I wanted to leave a message on your VRBO space, but I did not see a comment page. We had a great time and would not change a thing about the whole weekend. Again thanks. I have some great pic's of the house that I am going to send to you!

  Thank you so much for this great vacation rental. The carriage house is a fantastic place to come back and rest after a long day of tours, eating and enjoying the beautiful city of Savannah. This really was another home to us for these few days and we really appreciate it. We hope to come back and visit the Galloway House Bed and Breakfast and the fine city of Savannah. Thanks again!

  On our way home from Florida I saw this place online and just had to stay a night. I talked my husband into it and must say that one night just wasn't enough. I can't wait to go back and spend more time at The Galloway House, as well as in Savannah. Jim was our host and he was so gracious in accommodating us last minute, as well as giving us an early check-in. The carriage house where we stayed was so cozy and tastefully decorated. You had the historical feel with all the modern amenities. The linens and towels were superb, as well as a very comfortable bed. The gardens outside were just beautiful and I could have sat outside with a book for days if time would have allowed it. Our dogs were very content and made themselves right at home. It was very nice to experience a bed and breakfast with our dogs right at our sides, and all the little extras in the fridge and on the counter didn't go unnoticed.

  Stayed here with my 79 yr. old mom for 4 nights. We loved everything! Charming old-world style with touches of modern posh-ness! The linens were top of the line, a soaking bathtub this era needs to bring back and EASY access to everything. We were house hunting and vacationing and it was the perfect place to come back and relax like you'd 'come back home'! I am OCD and this place is spotless clean and smells like you've walked into a spa, couldn't find their trick to that delightful aroma :) The owners do leave you alone but also are available at a moments notice. If like us, you dislike hotels and/or bad housekeeping...this is your place! Kudos to the owners, the restoration of this home is fabulous and I felt like I'd gone back in time...I love that! Highly recommend this place!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  At first we (my sister and I) were concerned that the house was located a little ways from River Street but that turned out to be a good thing, no crowds or tour buses. The neighborhood is quiet and has many big beautiful houses. We spent a lot of time on the front porch with other guests who had brought their dog, it was fun for all! The apartment is huge and we both really appreciated the beautiful bedding. We highly recommend the Galloway House.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  My entire family loved staying at the Galloway House and we rarely agree on anything. There was plenty of space for each of us to have some privacy and alone time, but we also spent a lot of time just talking on the front porch, imagine teenagers talking to their parents, wow! The house is beautiful inside and out, clean as a whistle (very important to a finicky daughter) and we're planning to come back with my parents in the spring.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  We visited with another couple and our Papillons. We found everything to be just as advertised. We loved the spacious rooms, the luxurious porch, the generous breakfast items, and our bottle of wine. The dogs appreciated the fenced garden behind the house and the nearby park for taking walks. The owners were helpful and pleasant. We would recommend this house to other seniors, those with well-behaved pets, and families. We had a wonderful 4 days and wished we could have stayed longer. We especially loved sitting on the expansive front porch and pretending we lived there! Enjoy a luxurious visit.

  1-19-09 What a great space! Thank you Jim and Keith for such a peaceful and pleasant oasis. Savannah has been great. A note to those fortunate to find this gem....make a stop at the Owens-Thomas House for a tour. The ticket included entrance to the Jepson Center for the arts and the Telfair Academy. Don't forget your (continued next page) AAA card for the discount. One the best values in the city. Good food was found at Soho Cafe, Barnes Bar-B-Que and Paula Deen's! Have fun & thanks again!
