Come to the "Cool Pine" country, and enjoy wildlife and stunning views. The "Kirby Ranch" land is part of our great grandma's homestead, and has been in the family since 1917. The cabin was built on ten of the original homestead acres. Enjoy a glass of wine or some hot cocoa while you view the San Francisco Peaks from the upstairs balcony or the front porch. A back porch the length of the cabin has great sunset views.Remodeled in 2008, with all new carpet, furniture and bedding; we are out in the country, so appeal to those who want a quiet getaway without traffic noise. In the winter, you may need a 4-wheel drive vehicle!
Located just 15 miles from Williams and the Grand Canyon Railway; 7 miles to the Deer Farm and 18 miles from Flagstaff, the cabin is a great central location for many day trips. Prices have recently been reduced to help families still have an affordable vacation.

We would highly recommend this cabin! Everything was as described and more! The owner was a helpful and answered all my questions. The cabin was actually more beautiful than the pictures showed! My husband and 3 teen boys spend four days enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of "The Ranch". There was room to spare! Very comfortable beds, large kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own food. We used the gas grill every night for dinner. We were close enough to go to the Grand Canyon to the north and Flagstaff to the East. The area is beautiful and secluded. The neighboring cabins are far enough away and the view of the mountains was amazing. This cabin is beautiful inside - we relaxed by the fireplace every night, watched the sunrise on the upstairs patio in the mornings. Relaxed with coffee on the patios each afternoon. The cabin is so welcoming and comfortable that we hardly left in the four days we were there. Thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing vacation.

We stayed at the cabin for only 2 nights, but it was wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer. The kids played in the snow and had a great time. Beautiful and peaceful. The fire place was giving us some trouble (some smoke was getting into the cabin), but overall experiance was great! Thank you for sharing your place with us. The Bakels Family
Owner response:Sometimes smoke from the fireplace happens when renters put large logs in and start a fire instead of starting a smaller fire and letting the chimney draw the smoke up and then adding a larger log. We regret if this happened for these renters and will give better instructions to future visitors.
