Brand new totally remodeled Walkout rambler cabin situated right on beautiful Eaglesnest Lake. Full kitchen with new hickory cabinets, new appliances, and slate flooring. Clear waters are just steps outside your door. Enjoy fishing, canoeing,kayaking, watersking or just a relaxing swim in the summer. Just as in enticing in the winter with snowmobiling, cross country skiing right outside your door. In any season here you can end your day in our brand new sauna!! Fabulous view of lake from the dining room, living room and lower level family room. Bathroom up and down both completely brand new! With approximately 1700 square feet of finished space on two levels your group won't feel cramped here. Enjoy the wonderful private views of the lake and woods from the deck off the livingroom or from the patio off the familyroom. In the evening enjoy sitting around a lakeside firepit roasting marshmellows and telling stories. Great area about halfway between Tower and Ely. Wildlife abounds!! Bears, deer, wolves and moose could be seen on your stay!
Each bedroom has a queen size log bed, familyroom has full size log futon.
Lake info. Eaglesnest#1&2 are 730 acres combined connected by a 75-80 foot channel. Clarity is 11 feet with a maximum depth of 76 ft. Excellent walleye fishing with a average walleye weight of 3.14 lb as listed by the DNR website. google minnesota DNR for their website

My son was on a boy scout canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters so we drove him out and stayed at the house for the week. We had a great time canoeing ourselves and having smores out by the lake each night and heard the loons. The house was comfortable, clean and convenient. We went into Ely to go to restaurants, shopping and went to the Bear Center and International Wolf center. It was a great week.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

My husband, my two dogs and I just returned from a week at this cabin. It was nice and the views are sooo amazing, we live in Abuquerque, NM and this is so nice and quiet. It took us 2 days to drive from NM to Ely, but it was well worth it. I love Ely, MN. We would definitely return in the future. Tim, Nicky and the babies ( our dogs:-) Mocha and Oreo.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We have already enjoyed this great get away home twice, and have just booked our third get away weekend with our grandchildren. We enjoyed the fabulous comforts of home in it's peaceful setting.
