We loved everything about this condo at On The Bay- Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped with room for our family to spread out. Nice pool, beautiful bay and postcard perfect beach to walk, enjoy sunsets, and collect shells. The unit is in the back but has a really nice ocean view and is protected from the wind as it is tucked back behind trees. The location was ideal- close to Rum Point, Kaibo, East End and fantastic snorkeling along the North shore. We spent one day in Georgetown and 7MB and that was enough to know we had made the right choice in settling in at Old Man Bay. Oh so relaxing! This was our first time to Grand Cayman, but hopefully not our last. Thank you Anthony and John!

The condo is bigger than the pictures look. Very quiet location and centrally located on the north side of the island. We had a very relaxing vacation and Anthony was great to deal with. The only thing we missed not having was a propane barbecue to cook some meals. The barbecue on site uses briquettes which we chose not to use. But with all the excellent restaurants within easy driving range, we never went hungry. Rum Point is a short drive away and is a great spot to spend a lazy afternoon.

Hi Anthony, Well, we are back from Cayman and can't quite get used to having to actually put more than a swimsuit on when we get up in the morning! When we arrived, Tom was waiting for us and gave us a brief tour of the condo. Wow! We were thrilled with the place. The pictures do not do it justice. The fact that it was so beautiful and that there were little "welcome" toiletries certainly helped me get over the fact that the airline had lost my luggage. It was a nice touch to have the lotion, soap and sunscreen given that mine was somewhere else! Luckily, we contacted my son back home (hooray for the wifi connection so that we could Skype each other) and with his, the airline did track down my bag and, after a trip through Chicago and Miami, it was delivered on Sunday night. The condo is certainly great and in a perfect spot. Other than the caretaker and the neighbour with her sweet dogs Fergus and Trio, we didn't see a soul for days at a time. We lounged, we read, we drank rum and Caybrew and relaxed. The snorkeling out front was fabulous - almost like jumping into an aquarium. Our boys arrived on the following Saturday and their first day dawned sunny and beautiful. My husband and younger son went diving twice with Ocean Frontiers and had an incredible time. We went snorkeling out at starfish beach and also at Connolly's Cove. We had fabulous fish at The Grape Tree Café on the beach in Bodden Town, hot and spicy jerk kitchen at Rankin's Jerk Centre, and very good roti at Singh's Roti Hut in Georgetown. We even cooked our fresh grouper at the condo. We really hope that we will be able to come back again soon.

There's no other word to use to describe our trip to the Cayman: Perfect. The condo was the perfect size for four of us to stay in. The private beach/cove was phenomenal. Very appreciative of John giving us a warm welcome when we arrived. The place was spotless. We all loved how the condo was not located in a busy part of the island, so it was great for some needed relaxation. The property was exactly how the pictures depicted it. We would definitely recommend this property to anybody even thinking about visiting Grand Cayman. We used McCurley's Rental Car... B.A. (owner) comes across a little rude, but we're sure she's a kind person deep down inside. Next time we go to the island we'll probably use different car rental agency. Thank you Anthony and John for the opportunity to experience your piece of heaven in Grand Cayman. Can't wait to go back...

We just returned from our Caymanian journey and thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful condo as home base for the week! It is in a very quiet complex set back from the road in what I think is the perfect spot on the island. If a happening night life is what you want...stick to Seven Mile Beach. If you want the chance to get away and totally reconnect with your family - this is the PERFECT spot to do it. Sandy beaches are rare, and the private cove at 'On the Bay' was completely surrounded by sand and still water. We travelled with our two teenagers and really enjoyed the tranquility of the condo...great for a family of 4. The condo had everything we needed, was well maintained and had amazing views. We were a short 15 minute drive down to Ocean Frontiers (over favorite dive company ANYWHERE!) and 15 minutes or less to several wonderful restaurants (Tukka is great...just sayin!) Georgetown is probably 45 minutes away but that was good for us...who wants those kinds of crowds? John and Anthony - Thank you for making this a simple and painfree experience. We will undoubtedly stay with you again on next years trip!! Loved your place and appreciated your helpfulness!!

This was our first visit to the Cayman Islands and it didn't disappoint us. We loved the condo, the quiet location of Old Man Bay and its proximity to Rum Point/Kaibo Area. Condo is very comfortable and well equipped. It was perfect for our vacation. Really enjoyed the deck in the late afternoon and early evenings. John was great and very informative. Thank you for recommending McCurly's for a car rental. Really good service.

We just spent five nights at this condo, and loved every bit of it. The condo itself is perfectly equipped, immaculate and very spacious and well laid out. The setting is excellent; very quiet, but still not too far from the rest of Grand Cayman. Anthony was responsive and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I am looking at an approaching blizzard and wishing I could be back on our lovely deck watching the little bird in the palm tree and the surf rolling in.

Hi Anthony, Mike and I had a great time on our trip to GC. Although the weather didn't cooperate fully, we didn't let that spoil our fun. So much to do and see even if it's raining. Lovely island and lovely condo!!! Your condo is in a great location - kind of in the middle of everything and not too far of a drive. It was in emaculate shape when we arrived so say thanks to Tom, he was very helpful in explaining everything. The setup was just perfect and everything we needed. Great time, great place and will stay there again if we head back to GC.

We have been to several islands in the Bahamas and Caribbean and all of the Islands in Hawaii and stayed in condos and houses alike. This by far beats any of those accomodations and location. The Condo itself is really spacious with a huge master bath with jetted tub and walk in shower and walk in closet. The kitchen has all the amenities you will ever need. The condo complex is small (12 units) with pool and a unique Lagoon with several species of fish. And you can snorkel from the lagoon into the ocean where you will find more beautiful fish, conch, lobster, and some nice coral. I picked several conch from the ocean floor and we dinned on conch fritters and cracked conch several times. From the Balcony you get a nice breeze in the afternoon and views of the lagoon and ocean. And the location is just great, away from the Cruise ships and crowds. I could go on and on but I'm running out of characters. We already scheduled our next trip for April 2011!!

We stayed from 3/21/10 - 3/29/10. The condo was beautiful and we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the location. Our rental car waiting for us there and it was nice to be picked up at the airport and driven back there at the end of our stay. We enjoyed the deck a lot where we played dominoes and cards. A ceiling fan would be a welcome addition to the deck. We went snorkeling in the cove and at Rum Point. We saw lots of sea urchins in the cove right out in front of the condo. We also went deep sea fishing and caught a 50+ pound wahoo that we ate for many meals and shared with many others. We traveled the whole island, from downtown Georgetown to seven mile beach, Hell, etc. We had great dinners at The Reef (where we listened to the Barefoot Man - my husband had seen him some 30+ years ago), The Grand Old House (where we enjoyed watching them feed the green moray eel), and The Lighthouse. We also enjoyed the botanical gardens - well worth the visit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The king sized bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby (other than the night before we left and I know why I didn't sleep that night - the thought of going back to work in two days!). We would definitely stay at your unit again. We've been to Grand Cayman several times and this was the best visit. Thanks for sharing your home away from home with us.
Owner response:Thanks for the great review Mary, we're glad you enjoyed your vacation. The ceiling fan is a fine idea and I will be installing one next time I'm down there.

We stayed at this wonderful condo from March 6-26, 2010. It was beautiful, clean and very large. The furnishings were top notch and everything that we needed was right there at our fingertips. We enjoyed the view from the balcony of the ocean and swaying palm trees and ate most of our meals there. The pool was quiet and clean, and the grounds were groomed daily. The building itself is immaculate. During our whole stay this building remained quiet and relaxing. We came for sun, sand and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. The lagoon would be better for older children, since it gets deep fairly quickly and there is a constant flow of water in and out from the ocean. The ocean would be best left to strong, advanced swimmers. There is however, the pool for the younger, not so stronger swimmers. The condo is very close to Rum Point, which we enjoyed visiting for the beach and swimming. We took the Red Sail excursion to Stingray City and were happy with their professionalism and help. My mother is in a wheel chair and they were excellent with getting her in and out of the water. We found that a car was necessary for getting around, although there were days that we did not use it. Georgetown is about a 35 minute drive, and although Seven Mile Beach is beautiful, that area is very congested and noisy. If solitude and peace is what you seek, then you've found it at On the Bay condos. I would certainly return to this condo and have already recommended it to family and friends. I think that it is an excellent value for the money.

February 19-28 2010Anthony, well what can we say, you and your family have just a beautiful place to stay, thanks so much for sharing it with us!Where to start? Well first of all we came here for a dive vacation and a dive vacation we got. I highly recommend Ocean Frontiers as the service is outstanding, they have valet dive service, meaning if you dive with them for more than one day they will take your gear rinse it and stow it for you and have it all rigged up for you next dive on the boat, all ready to go. Attention is put into every detail, including having your weights out right in front of your BC so that you are assured you are weighted correctly. Regs are set up on the tanks, you just have to don your BC and dive suit and off you go into the wild blue. They also they keep track of the site you are diving along with your max depth and dive time and give you a print out at the end of your diving with all this information to attach to your dive log! You can also dive your computer to max out your diving experience, nice bonus! We also visited Hell LOL, along with the Botanical Garden, the Garden we highly recommend it is just beautiful! Hell, well it is just that Hell : ) Seven Mile beach was beautiful, the day we were there no cruse ships were in so it was un crowded and beautiful. Over the Edge Restaurant was just okay, I felt that it was over priced for what you got and the food a bit bland for my tastes. The view was nice how ever, and don’t mind the older French lady she is okay, once you loosen her up! You know the French, always saving their butts yet they still hate us Americans! We also made a visit to Rum Point for Crab Fritters and a beverage, nice place to visit and kick back for a few hours. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and we are not looking forward to heading back to Minnesota for another month of snow and cold, oh well at least we are fortunate enough to be able to get this much of a break from the cold and snow, we will count our blessings and thank everybody for this wonderful adventure.Kent and Bev Berghuis

Your condo is grand and we will be back again and again. Everything was great from our flight down and back to the Budget rental car people to the "The Wreck Bar" at Rum point. You purchased well in buying your unit there, it is the perfect spot to rest, gather ones thoughts to watching the waves come ashore. Never turned on the TV once. Thanks again for accommodating our stay, next time we will stay for a week or until the police throw us out!!!!! Ken A. Warnes IV

You won't regret staying here! The condo is great and its right on a nice quiet beach. We had originally planned to go to 7 mile beach, but wanted something more peacful and quiet and this was definitely it. Although it is still plenty close to Rum Point where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and water activities. I can highly recommend staying at this condo!

We absolutely had a wonderful time and the condo was perfect in every way! We lived in the water and on the beach. Once we sized up the island we could not have been more pleased with the location very near Rum Point, which became our favorite hangout, and about as far away from 7 Mile Beach as possible while remaining on Grand Cayman. One day we went to 7 Mile just to see what the big deal was. There were 4 gigantic cruise ships docked & we felt like we may as well have been walking down The Strip in Vegas. NO THANKS! We turned tail, returned to the condo & played in the water there & at Rum Point for the rest of our time. We definitely will be staying here for our next Cayman trip. Thanks again.

Great location and a nice clean, newer condo with nice simple furnishings. Wonderful view from the balcony and the sunsets are the best. You have your own beach and little cove to swim in. Plus the pool is clean and just steps away from the ocean. In my opinion this area is better than seven mile beach, same activities, but in a quiet relaxed environment. You can spend a whole day on the beach without seeing anyone else. Even if you don't stay in this particular condo, although I can highly recommend it, you must try this part of the island. You have to rent a car, but it is definitely worth it. You can explore for days, yet everything is close by. All in all a great place to stay and I definitely will be back. P.S. Look for Spencer, the resident groundskeeper, to get you a fresh coconut from one of the many palm trees.
