Our home is a one story home on a large lot with a great backyard. Perfect home for entertaining with an open floorplan with a large kitchen that opens up to a family room. There are five bedrooms, two and three quarters baths. Sleeps up to 12 people. Great home for multiple families vacationing together. Awesome location! The backyard has a built in BBQ with seating, fire pit table and great pool and jacuzzi for kids. There is outside seating for 15 people. House works great for multiple families.
All major attractions including airport are within 15 minutes away. Beach and bay are just a few miles away. Sea World is about five miles away. Watch the Sea World fireworks every night during the summer. New Years eve is absolutely incredible with multiple fire work displays going off all over the city which can be seen from every major room in the house and the back yard and pool area. Pictures of view don't do it justice. Abolutely gorgeous!!!
Backyard has pool, jacuzzi, barbeque, firepit table and ping pong table. Home is beautifully remodeled and feels like a resort. Very open floorplan that is great for entertaining. Enjoy playing pool or ping pong. Great home for families. Amazing views of sunrise and sunsets. Home is one story which works great for older people. Great vacation home!

We purchased this home because we fell in love with the view. It is truely amazing and something we never get tired of. We have three children that are 18,16 &12. We love meeting new people and sharing our home with them. We have done vacation rentals for almost 2 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. We have had really nice families getting together for their family vacations. It is fun for us to help make their vacation to San Diego a great memorable trip. Our home is close to the beach, mission bay, Sea World, shopping centers, great La Jolla Restaurants and has easy freeway access and is located about 10 miles from the airport.
Why the Owner Chose Soledad South
Our home is one of the few properties in La Jolla that has this type of incredible 180 degree southern view of the city of San Diego, bays, ocean, Coronoda Island all the way to Mexico. It is a very quiet peaceful location that is close to the several beaches like La Jolla Shore, Windansea and Pacific Beach beaches. We are also very close to Mission Bay with great paths for bike riding and walking. There are many boat rentals for water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, whale watching ect. La Jolla is known for its scenic beauty, great beaches, restaurants, bars, entertainment, seal beach/preserve. You can enjoy nightly fireworks from our backyard all summer long.
The Unique Benefits of this House
One nice benefit to our home besides the view, is our pool and jacuzzi. We also have a huge back yard with BBQ that has seating for 16 people. Our home has a very open floor plan that easily accomidates large groups and multiple families. We have indoor seating for 12 people. Master bedroom has its own bath with entry to the pool and has 180 degree view. View can be seen from all major rooms in the house. Enjoy views of the city, bay, ocean, Coronado bridge and islands all the way to Mexico.

Ideal location close to everything - minutes to the beach, close to fwy and downtown Gaslamp. This made everything convenient as we explored San Diego. Very spacious and open floor plan with awesome views. My mom had more than enough kitchen appliances and space to serve our family and friends. Outdoor propane firepit to relax during the evening and warm up some smores. Big screen TV for any sporting events. Large pool and jacuzzi to just relax with plenty of out door seating for the entire family. 2 computers, that were internet ready. Overall, we had a perfect stay and the owners were very receptive with questions, concerns and accommodating our needs.

We rented this home for a week in June. Everything was spectacular! The 10 of us (myself, my husband, our daughter; my sister, her husband, and three kids; my parents) were more than comfortable--we didn't even need the fifth bedroom! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the pool was fabulous. We spent many hours outside, in and out of the pool, just enjoying the view. It was perfect for us because the kids so enjoyed the pool, but I can see how groups with no kids would really enjoy it too. The owner really went above and beyond in making us feel welcome--she even stopped by to refill the propane tank when I mentioned one of them (out of three) was empty! She left a lovely welcome basket and lots of good information about local restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. I would definitely do this again.

We just returned from an awesome week in so cal at this property in LaJolla. Location, location, location! Close to the beaches, LaJolla Village and Old Town! Our extended family of eight had more than enough room to enjoy! The kids (and adults) had an absolute blast in the pool and hot tub. The owners were very helpful every step of the way! This is a beautiful property with all the extras family vactioners want. Thank you Karen and Jack for your hospitality!

What a wonderful week we had at this gorgeous property. The house is perfect for a large group of people. There were 11 of us including teenagers and children and there was enough space for us all to have some privacy or all get together communally. The house is just beautiful with the most amazing views and the back patio is huge and a great place to gather. Everything in the house was in great condition and working order.The kids loved the pool and we all loved the spa. Many times I went outside to sit and read in the morning sun but continually got distracted by the view. Karen and Jack were fabulous to deal with. They were on-site to show us through on arrival and just a phone call away if we had any questions. This is their primary residence and they very generously gave us access to all their home comforts such as the computer, printer, kids games and toys, the list just goes on and on. Thank you Karen and Jack for sharing your home with us!

We frequently stay at this home because it has many amenities, beautiful views and is nearby to the beach, the zoo, Sea World. If you don't want to be hung up in traffic, this is the place to stay.
