Our experience at this condo was good overall. The condo was very nice, but there was no pool at the Ilikai Marina and when we complained to the owner, were were given a pool pass to go to the pool at the Ilikai hotel, which was two hotels over. We were given a hard time by the pool attendant, who we nicknamed the "pool nazi". She made it obvious that the "Marina" people were not supposed to use the Ilikai pool. She talked about us to another person so everyone, including us, could hear her. We never went back. We walked the 25 minute walk to the Hale Koa and used their pool. The condo had a couple of issues while we were there: The air conditioner wasn't up to par, but the owner was on it right away and had it serviced immediately. Janna was very good to work with as was Mia, The bed was super comfortable. We probably will not come back to this condo because of the pool issue. We made an assumption there was a pool because of what others had said in their reviews, but that was incorrect. Janna was very good to deal with and we had no issues with her.

Firstly, this is a lovely, well maintained unit. The bedroom is totally enclosed by a fixed wall - unusual for Waikiki condos. Being a corner unit, you have views in two directions. Also, there is 7th floor parking just outside the door - a real plus! Thankfully we were away from the noise and crowds of Waikiki, but could walk there in 20 minutes or so.It is about a 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Centre and 1 block to the nearest ABC Store. Everything is very close by, and the Chart House Restaurant (excellent) is on the main floor. In this climate, the washer/dryer in the condo was much used and appreciated. We would not rent a unit without one! Janna is both professional and a delight to work with!

Loved our stay. The apartment was fantastic. Everything in it was clean and modern. Having a washing machine was a great advantage. The two windows I sat watching the whales in the distance, never got sick of just looking out the window at the view. Everything was easy to get to, tour bus picked up next door and the local bus out the front. Walked to Ala Moana most days for supplies or across to ABC. Will definetly return. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment.

Would you like to have a diamond-studded cruise ship cross your line of vision in the darkness just before dawn? How about a bird's-eye view of the outrigger canoe races? Watch the morning rituals of raising the flag over the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and grooming the sand around the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon? See and hear the fireworks extravaganza right next door? If this appeals to you and you would like to combine it with a comfortable and attractive interior space, a large kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and a charming host, then this is the place for you!

Just returned from a three week stay in paradise. The condo is FABULOUS! The views are amazing. Make sure to watch the fireworks on Fridays and enjoy an evening cocktail as you watch the sun set. The location was perfect...could walk everyhwere or if you decide to rent a car at National across the street you have access to the parking lot right in the same building...steps from the door to the condo. We appreciated Jana's wonderful hospitality. This is our fifth time in Hawaii and have never experienced accomodation such as 780 at the Ilikai Marina. It is quiet, secure, quaint, and is the perfect piece of paradise!!!

With gorgeous views from lanai and sophisticated decor, we enjoyed each and every moment we stayed in the condo. As we are from Japan, I was somewhat concerned about whether everything was OK. But our host, Janna's hospitable responses were always quick and wiped out my worries right away. Her all comments turned out to be really true. It was all trustworthy business for me. We took most advantage of the condo's furnishing. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher were especially helpful. Then the complete set of beach gears were available too. On top of that, the location was so convenient that we could walk almost anywhere like Ala Moana Shopping Ctr., Ala Moana Beach Park and Waikiki Beach. Personally I enjoyed jogging every morning. You can pick up so many routes, you'll never be bored. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Janna for helping me spending such an unforgettable vacation in Hawaii. Hopefully we will go back there sometime soon!
Owner response:Aloha Yuko, Mahalo for your kind words of acknowledgment of my efforts to make sure your vacation dreams come true. You are greatly appreciated and we will look forward to your return to our special "You Found Paradise" property! With Gratitude, Janna

My husband and I stayed in this condo from late April to early May for our first time vacation in Waikiki. The condo was extremely clean, beautiful, and in good location with the awesome ocean view. It had everything we needed including the plush bath towels and bathrobes. I slept so well during our stays due to the bed was so comfortable. We met Marge, the owner, a very nice and friendly lady. She sure takes pride in taking care of the place. We enjoyed the food court in Aloa Moana Shopping center (walking distant). It provided many food choices and great price. The firework was spectacular. Thanks for the experience and sharing your place with us. P.S. Let us know when you want to sell this condo :)

This condo is worth every penny, It is without a doubt the best location in Waikiki. It's on the 7Th floor in a residential building, we never had to wait for the elevator. You felt like a home owner, wonderful kitchen, very comfortable furniture, separate bedroom, washer, dryer, and a little balcony with a view of the marina 24/7.It's a corner unit lots of windows. Everything clean and well decorated. Delightful. Wonderful fresh air and people watching. We walked to Ala Moana, 3 blocks, Hilton Hawaiian village is next door. Janna was a wonderful host, very easy to do business with, and available by email. . I hope that this condo is available next time I visit Waikiki,I will be so disappointed if it's not .
Owner response:Aloha Lauren and Mike, Thank you so much for the awesome review, I feel like you have given me the greatest gift! I sincerely appreciate your comments and would love to have you return next year! With Gratitude, Janna

We stayed at this condo in early Dec 2008. A fantastic view of the ocean, HI Village lagoon(fireworks Fridays), sailboats, and even a small lanai. Nice kitchen(with dishwasher) and really prettily decorated condo. Bedroom bed had very good mattress, but we slept on pullout couch in living room for the view and also because the air conditioning was in process of being fixed. Swam in the lagoon-and condo had umbrellas, beach slippers(easier to walk on the rocks in the water) and mats Condo-great location at end of Waikiki- walked a LOT but only $2 round trip on #8 and #20 bus. Good breakfast at Harbor Pub(German cook)(on 1st floor in Ilikai Marina-our bldg), loved Tiki Grill and Hula Grill. Go to timeshare talk to get $100 towards activities in Oahu. Also got free buffet breakfast at Shorebird.

I visit Waikiki every year and this is my favorite place to stay! The condo is immaculate & everthing I need is right there. From the fully stocked modern kitchen to the soft towels provided. My favorite lagoon and beach is located at the Hilton Marina just next door. I loved the restaurant there at the top of the Ilikai. Views!views! views! And if you don't feel like doing the beach, there is the pool at the Ilikai where you can get those laps in. The Waikiki trolley is located at the corner to take me to the center of Waikiki or if you feel like doing some shopping the trolley takes you right to Ala Moana Mall. I can hardly wait to return next year. Thank you so much!

We love this wonderful condo and will come back soon! My husband and I needed a stop over after traveling to Asia on business, we discovered this great place and it was perfect to recharge our batteries before returning to the real world. I would recommend it because of the breathtaking views, central location, modern fresh and clean decor. Love those Turkish robes, a great touch! David and Diane McLaughlin Costa Mesa, California

We were so lucky to be able to stay at this condo in Waikiki!! The view was absolutely amazing, and the amenities were wonderful. The fireworks were right outside of our window on Friday and Monday!! It was a great convenience to have a fully stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer. One of the best parts was the easy access to Waikiki and the Ala Moana area. We'll definitely be back!!
