This charming vacation home in the most desirable north-side Colonia San Antonio location offers spectacular views of the Parrochia and maximum comfort for the vacation traveler. And from the lovely garden terraza you can watch the incredible fireworks displays San Miguel is known for.
It's an easy 10 minute walk to the Jardin where you can enjoy endless choices of restaurants and shopping, world-class shows at the Angela Peralta Theater and incredible cinema at the Santa Ana Theater. And it's an even easier 5 minute walk to the Instituto, which offers classes in cooking, art and Spanish, as well as many art galleries and wonderful restaurants.
This custom home was designed to keep vacation travelers comfortable. A refreshing fountain greets you in the entry and from there you'll find a spacious guest quarters which includes two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with two twin beds, as well as a full bath and sitting room with its own fireplace.
The master bedroom is located upstairs overlooking an ancient mesquite tree outside a private balcony. Up another short flight you will find a second bath and then a spacious living room with another fireplace, formal dining room and modern kitchen.
The house features beautifully crafted local Talavera tile ... from the fountain to the bathrooms and the modern kitchen. This "upside down" house provides maximum light inside and makes sure your guests stay comfortable while affording you maximum privacy.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Casa Buendia is in a great part of town. We chose this location because it is close enough to walk everywhere, without all the hassle of traffic and noise in the City Center. Although San Miguel is built on the side of a mountain, Colonia San Antonio is fairly flat. And because Casa Buendia is located on a slight hill in the most desirable north side, the views of the city and surrounding mountains are unobstructed.
