We enjoyed a 7 night stay at this cottage home and it was perfect for my family. The cottage is very well kept and had some great updates to the bathrooms. Very spacious for my family of 6. The location was close to Night Heron Park where we spent most of our time. (great for families with kids) The resort amenities included with this cottage are fantastic. It would not have been the same vacation without it. Kiawah Island is very beautiful and isolated and a definite get-away from it all. Aside from the amazing golf courses and restaurants we really enjoyed getting close to nature on this trip by immersing ourselves into the activities offered by the resort. The Pluff mud paddle kayak trip was amazing for the whole family. So many beautiful creatures to discover. My children have many memories of the ghost crabs on the beach at night (a must-see), alligator sightings, bird sightings even a mother dear with her fawn. Truly a very memorable trip for all of us. We will be back to Kiawah again!

The home was very comfortable and clean. It was very quiet. Nice location close to the swimming pool at Night Heron Park, walking distance. Also, was close to the beach if you wanted to walk. We drove to the Sanctuary hotel, the spa was wonderful. We had terrific weather and no crowds on the beach!!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely unit--nicely appointed and spacious living area and convenient location near the beach, Night Heron Park, and Fresh Fields (shopping village). The owners were most helpful in setting up the rental and answering all our questions. We particularly liked the connection with the Resort, which allowed us to have guest cards, rates, and privileges. The unit is very well maintained with many recent improvements and updates (including WIFI)! The unit even included a grill and short surf boards. I'd certainly consider a return trip to this property and would recommend it to my family and friends.

This is a beautiful, spacious 3/2 villa located within a short walk or bike ride to Night Herron Park and the beach. There is a fully equiped kitchen, washer & dryer, very comfortable living areas and bedrooms. One of the best parts was that the owner is easy to work with, answers all of your question, very accomadating and makes the process as easy as possible. We would most definately stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage with us for the Labor Day weekend! We had everything we needed for a great family get together. Your cottage was clean and well maintained. The pool at Night Heron was so nice and very convenient. We enjoyed bike riding along the great bike trails that cross Kiawah. We look forward to returning again in the future.

My family stayed in this Night Heron Cottage in August and were very pleased with the home. The property was in a fantastic location - convenient to both the beach (short walk away) and night heron park and pool which are literally right across from the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and all appliances were in great condition and very up to date, including the convenient washer dryer in the kitchen. We even found boogie boards and beach toys for the kids in the storage area outside! The owners were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to all emails. Best of all was the resort privileges that were included, which allowed use of the huge pool at night heron, towel service, etc etc. Highly recommended!!

My family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this lovely home in a convenient location. Plenty of space for everyone. Lots of light, windows and decks in front and back. Beautiful wooded lot. Night Heron is a great location for families. Park the car and walk (or bike ride) to the Night Heron pool and nature center, gorgeous beach or bike path. Hotel amenities and reservation services were easily available by picking up the phone and dailing "0": Be sure to request the free towel service delivered to your door daily. . We were very pleased with this home and would return again.

This beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations-- it is very comfortable, pretty and clean, and the location can not be beaten. It's just a short walk to the pool and the park as well as to the ocean. We loved seeing the river and all of the foliage behind the cottage and being able to access the bike paths quickly. Jim was very helpful in answering our questions regarding the property and Kiawah, in general.

This is a home away from home. We had everything we could possibly need in a clean and homey environment. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us adults. We also enjoyed having the resort privaleges as an extra bonus!!

The villa was spacious and very clean. We loved the finished back room for games, puzzles and quiet reading. The proximity to the park for soccer, basketball and swimming is tough to beat and the pool is less than 5 minute walk away. We loved it and recommned it highly.

We spent a wonderful week. The weather was not perfect, far from that, the temperatures were below average (however the first 3 days only), but we could enjoy the nature, the fresh air, the pool, the alligators, biking, etc. Additionally, many of our friends had the same idea, and it was so pleasant to be with them. The house was great, and it was really exciting to feel at home two years after our first stay in the very same cottage. We were so sad to leave on Saturday 11. My wife could not understand that we could not stay 2 weeks in a row (apparently she didn't realize that I have a full time job where we live and unfortunately not too much time to spend on vacations...)

Great house, awesome beach, amazing resort. Location was so convenient to the beach and to the park where all the activities are. Even Grandma had no trouble with the bike ride. Kayaking with the dolphins was amazing. We can't wait to come back!

The Villa was beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location made it very convenient to get to the pool or the beach. We had a wonderful time riding bikes, enjoying God's beautiful creation and everyone at the island was so friendly. Thanks to Jim for making the arrangements for rental simple and easy to follow. I would highly recommend his villa and a stay at Kiawah island.

We --my husband, myself, son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren under the age of 5 -- had a magical week of riding bikes, playing on the beach, and on the playgrounds. The accommodations were perfect -- everything we needed was provided -- lots of room for all of us together yet privacy when we "needed" it. Location great -- wish we could have stayed longer.

Love the location it was a very easy bike ride to Night Herron and the beach. That's half the fun riding bikes to the beach. Also loved the big kitchen table we all could eat together every night. Our little baby deer friend came to visit us each day as well as the alligator in the lagoon.

We had a large family group stay here the week of March 31, 2007; the accommodations were terrific. With our four children 8 and under we could walk or bike to Night Heron Park easily to take advantage of the pool, nature center and activities. The walk to the beach was also easily done by the 6 year old. Tennis was very close as well. My 75 year old mother commented that she thought the place was very comfortable and homey - the couches and porch furniture were easy to settle into and read or watch TV; we would very much recommend this home for a large inter-generational family with kids. Thanks, Jim for lovely accommodations.

Having access to all of the amenities of the Resort is definitely a plus for this property. The cottage was comfortable, with plenty of seating and dining space. The bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Everything we needed to feel at home was furnished. Thank you for a relaxing, fun week of vacation.

We had the most wonderful week at this cottage in April!! It was our first vacation in Kiawah and we just loved everything! The weather was gorgeous every day. The cottage was perfect. The location is great for biking and going to the beach, and the park is just a few houses away. It was a pleasure to just bike and walk to everything. The cottage is beautifully decorated, more than enough space for our family of four and we are hoping to return again soon. We would highly recommend this rental.

We had the opportunity to visit Kiawah in early October. This home provided a relaxing stay with great views and yet was close to the beach, pool and nature center. The house is clean, well decorated and provides everything you need including laundry facilities and a full kitchen. Kiawah was absolutely beautiful and we would definitely recommend this home to our friends and family.

We SO enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, comfy and cozy home in Kiawah. The location is absolutely perfect, great for a family with children. The most wonderful thing was to leave the van in the driveway for most of the week and have everything within easy biking distance, even for our 5 year old! I loved gazing at the peaceful and beautiful view of the lagoon from the master bedroom and back patio. I'm sure we'll be back!

This villa is has a PERFECT location. It is within walking distance to the beach and the shops, and still offers a quiet reprieve for privacy with its peaceful view of the lagoon and the trees. So while you are close to the main campus, you have your own quiet space as well. Having the amenities of a kitchen and laundry room was quite helpful during our vacation and the rooms are tastefully decorated and offered a homey atmosphere. Kiawah is a beautiful island. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to our next visit.
