Cozy yet spacious 2,500 sqft home with a built-in 2 car garage located within walking distance of the world famous Grove Park Inn. Your Asheville luxury rental is located two miles from downtown Asheville's gourmet restaurants and shops. This cabin vacation rental is minutes away from America's largest home the Biltmore House, and the magnificent Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville is a vibrant, year-round tourist town offering events for all ages and interests.

At nearby Beaver Lake you may enjoy walking around the easy trail and listening to the birds in the lovely bird sanctuary. Also within walking distance of the house is a remarkable play ground and park for children called Jones Park - a haven for the most discerning young park goers. Contact Rachel at Travel Babees if you don't want to bring everything you'll need for your infant (crib, high chair, safety gates).

Nearby you will find Greenlife Grocery offering a full service natural foods store, Fresh Market offering an old world European market, and the Paris Bakery offering fresh French pastries.

As you can read in our guest book, everyone's favorite spot is the relaxing sunroom lined with rockers overlooks two fish ponds with a turtle fountain and a secluded fenced backyard. Most rooms have high ceilings and ceiling fans. There is a stately stone fireplace for you to enjoy in the living room and the downstairs recreation room includes pool table, air hockey and darts. There are 2 flat screen LCD TVs with 200 Channels on DirecTV. The TV room in the front entry area offers DirecTV and you have DVD and VCR players for your favorite movies. The second LCD flat screen TV is in the bedroom and has DirecTV.

If you want to use your laptop, there is WiFi with broadband Internet. We also provide a fully loaded computer with a printer/Fax so you can also leave your laptop at home.

  • This is a wonderful, spacious home nestled in the trees in a beautiful neighborhood. It's not far from downtown and offers plenty of privacy. It was very clean, very nicely furnished and had all the comforts of home. The owners were extremely nice, very helpful and quick to respond to questions. This was our first visit to this home and we highly recommend it.

  • We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The location could not have been better-- so close to town and all that Asheville has to offer and yet secluded and beautiful as well. We enjoyed the neighborhood park with our 18 month old son and we found the home to be clean, well-maintained and with all the amenities we needed for our relaxing vacation!

  • We loved our vacation in Asheville, and This home was a lovely place to stay. It was very private and it had plenty of space for 2 couples to be together or have separation. We especially enjoyed our evenings on the large deck and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. This home was a wonderful place to stay (it was very clean!)

  • Lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable home. This was our first trip to Asheville, and we wanted to be close to the downtown area and some of the attractions. The location was ideal. We all slept well in the comfortable beds, and the children really enjoyed the pool table/air hockey and the stashes of toys throughout the the house.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful time with our one year-old son in your vacation home. The house is spacious and clean with every important amenity provided. We especially loved rocking on the chairs in your sun room and spending time on the deck. The neighborhood is beautiful, serene and relaxing.

  • My husband and I and our three children had a wonderful time last weekend staying in your very spacious and relaxing home, such a great place for both togetherness and privacy. Perfect. We especially enjoyed spending time on that nice big deck just off the kitchen. It was a vacation just being in your home, but so nice to be very convenient to sights in Asheville, not to mention the Grove Park Inn. Our grandchild enjoyed visiting Jones Park. Despite being in the midst of civilization, I enjoyed seeing some interesting wildlife. As I drove around in my car early one morning, I spotted a bear, a flock of wild turkeys, and then another bear! We'd love to come back again for another visit. Also we enjoyed the nice tv's, the computer, the fine master bathroom, and looking at the high rocky fireplace in the heart of your home.
