Well appointed, cedar-shake ground floor condo recently renovated top to bottom with contemporary, high-end finishes. In addition to being close enough to walk barefoot to the beach -- just two blocks, it is just a 3 minute walk to Cape May's newly refurbished Washington Street pedestrian mall and some of the best restaurants at the New Jersey Shore.

Outside is lots of outdoor living space. Lean back and enjoy the evening sea breeze on the new wrap-around porch, sitting in the rocker chairs and watch the horse drawn carriages pass by. Also on the front porch is a 4-seat outdoor dining area with ceiling fan/light. There is also a new enclosed side porch with comfortable wicker furniture and lovely greenery -- ideal for reading and relaxing. The garden is nicely landscaped with a seating area, fully enclosed outdoor shower, and gas grill. Private front and rear entrances. Shared driveway parking for 1 car. Beach tags (5) are provided along with high-speed internet access.

Inside you will find light oak hardwood floors throughout, large gourmet kitchen with granite island/countertops and eating area with barstools at the counter . New central A/C and heating keeps it the perfect temperature. Living area with high speed Internet access, cable TV/DVD, and CD player. Two bedrooms - the master with double bed and the other with 3 singles - perfect for the kids (this bedroom also has a TV and Nintendo GameCube with plenty of games). Light, airy bathroom with white wainscoting and tiled shower, washer/dryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes all dishes, glasses, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, refrigerator with icemaker, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster.

Come enjoy an affordable place at the shore that is ideal for young families or an adult couples getaway, and create your own beautiful Cape May memories. Bring your bicycles or rent one and take a ride out to Cape May's famous bird observatory at the Point, hike up to the top of the lighthouse, or have lunch at Sunset Beach and watch the dolphins swim by.

  • The condo was nicely remolded and looked just like the pictures. The first night my family sat in the enclosed porch and drank some wine and spent some family time together. The porch is lovely. You can walk to the beach a block away or the mall. The mall is very quaint with all the fall decorations.It was Victorian week. The weather was great and all the stores were open. Perfect time of the year. I did not want to leave. I have to commend Chris for having all the essentials in the condo. He had everything you would have in your own home. You just have to bring your clothing. I have rented houses in Long Beach Island, New Jersey and Martha's Vineyard and nobody had all the extra's that Chris supplied. I would rent again definitely. The cost was reasonable compared to other places I looked at.

  • We have vacationed in Cape May for the past 3 years and have never had a better rental then here. The condo is beautifully renovatedwell stocked, with a magnificent portch where we spent alot of time. It is also in a beautiful neighborhood so close to the beach and the Washington Mall. The whole family felt that they were in the best part of Cape May - and we all loved the horse and buggies clomping by in the morning and late afternoon. Cannot beat the location, condo and price! Loved it.

  • We had a wonderful visit to this apartment. It is beautifully done over and has wonderful porches. There is a outdoor shower in the back as well. It is very clean and nicely taken care of. The location could not be better. A very few short blocks to the beach. In addition the owner was very prompt in anwsering any of our questions.

The porches provide additional space and the condo is clean and has all the necessities. The owner is very attentive & prompt to respond to any questions you may have about the condo or the area. We recommend this rental to anyone planning a visit to this wonderful area.

The accomodations were great (exceeded our expectations) and the location was perfect (walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants yet on a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle).   • What a great vacation spot. The owners have done a great job on re-habbing this condo. Every detail is superb. It's quite comfortable and extremly convienent. Nice quiet street, yet, close to EVERYTHING. We all had a blast and plan on returning next September. This is definitley worth checking out.

  • We enjoyed a mother/daughter/aunt getaway during the weekend of Hurricane Hannah. We had a wonderful time despite the weather. The hurricane actually added to the enjoyment of spending time on the great front porch. The condo feels like home and the location is perfect. We all hope to return sooner rather than later!

  • We enjoyed a perfect vacation in this well appointed home. The front porch was wonderful and we enjoyed our morning coffee while the horses trotted down making their way to town each morning. My daughter loved quiet reading time in the screened in porch. Great location as you do not need to drive anywhere. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Owners very easy to communicate with. Alison/Ct.
