Wonderful property in a great neighborhood that is within walking distance to most everything of interest to us. Owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Information provided led us to some great restaurants and sites. Property was clean and well kept, cozy and comfortable ... everything was in working condition. Renovations preserved much of the old architecture. Loved the porch with the rocking chairs and enclosed area when it rained.

This is our families second time renting this property. The proximity to the beach and walking distance to the center of town is simply perfect. Plus, we enjoyed watching the world go by on the ;arge front porch. You couldn't ask for a better owner to deal with. He is very accessible and if any issues arise he takes care it right away. We had a great vacation!!

This was our first time renting a place for a whole week and what a wonderful choice we made. The place is beautiful and unique. The amenities were beyond what we expected and in working order. The decor of the apartment were very tasteful and homey. The kids loved the game cube, scooters, the secluded street to safely ride and walk. The distance to town and the beach were just right...not too close, and definitely not too far. My only complaint (and I say that lightly) is that it is on the first floor. The unit above us had some active kids, so we could hear them running around from time to time. Since we slept in the back room, we didn't hear anything at night while we slept. However, if you're going to be in the front room (and you're a light sleeper), it might be wise to be wise to bring some ear plugs. The parking is also a little cumbersome. You can park, but you will have to play musical cars with who ever parks there with you (the upstairs renters). We will definitely rent this unit again...and recommend it to anyone else who is thinking of renting.

We stayed here with our 11 yo in early June, 2011. The owner was very easy to deal with and was readily available the 2 times we called him (once to let him know we had arrived and once to ask how to use the cable tv). The newer kitchen has a large pantry and refrigerator in case you want to stock up and do your own cooking. The porch is deep enough, and awnings large enough, that we could sit in the rocking chairs during a rainstorm and not get wet. The table on the porch accommodated a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. The street was still being paved when we were there, but it seems like it would be a quiet block once the bulldozers leave. The block is tree-lined and the houses on it large and well-maintained. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off or washing as it is enclosed. There is a clothesline for wet towels and bathing suits. The bedroom with the double bed is small with only two drawers available in the dresser (we like to unpack everything) but very quiet at the back of the apartment. The larger bedroom has 2 big wardrobes where you can put everyone's clothes. Our 11 yo tried out the gamecube but wasn't enthusiastic about it. Honestly, are you here to play video games or to go the beach? Check out the location on a map and see how close you are to some very fine restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

My wife, 20 month old daughter, and myself stayed at this property for a weekend getaway in mid May 2011. There are three things that I look for when dealing with a rental: 1) the rental itself 2) the location/proximity of the rental, and 3) dealing with the owner. From my initial email inquiries about the property, the owner was a standup individual. He answered emails promptly, and was upfront and honest about the fact that Cape May (in May 2011) was replacing sewer lines, which meant that the entire block where his house resided was ripped up. When we arrived in Cape May, we did find this to be the case - the road was ripped up, and unfortunately, completely closed off. After parking on the next block down the road, we had to lug all of our belongings and toddler a good 150 yards to the house. Not ideal, but we were warned. Upon entering the house, we encountered a minor problem - the house had not been cleaned. After contacting the owner, he quickly returned my email, stating that he had just contacted the cleaning service and just found out himself that they had not come to the house that week due to the road repair. He refunded us $75 and we had the minor inconvenience of giving the house a quick cleaning. As for the house itself, it's simple, but well maintained, having been recently updated. The porch is it's best feature, and it turned out with the road being closed that it probably was even more quiet than usual. It is an old house, and the floors have settled quite a bit. The kitchen is full service with anything you need to cook supplied. In the 2nd bedroom the owner supplies a GameCube with games along with boardgames and playing cards. Internet access was also a plus. One minor issue were the ants in the kitchen - I did notice the occasional one scampering on the counter. I brought this to the owner's attention and I would not be surprised if that issue was already taken care of. As for location? Great! A few blocks from the town center, and a few from the beach.. all on a residential street..can't be beat! We would gladly return.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas, snowed in by the blizzard hitting the East Coast that time. Even though we stayed at a very unusual time of the year we had a great time at this perfectly maintained place. The condo is spacious and the kitchen is great. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and the shops are close too. Christopher was the perfect host by giving us a lot of information in advance. He was there whenever we needed anything - amazing service.

We are long time Cape May renters and found this condo to be a wonderful rental and so close to everything. The condo its self is lovely and superbly renovated. It is very clean and the location of the condo is PERFECT! 2 blocks to the mall and a street down from all of the restaurants and shops. We stayed with our family of 6-my husband and I and our 4 young kids (all 11 and under). My favorite part of the condo is the lovely outside porch, where we often enjoyed breakfast and dinner while people watching. Another bonus is that you can watch the horse drwan carriages go by in the morning while enjoying your coffee. My kids loved this! I also loved that we did not need to drive anywhere. Just park your car and walk to every spot in town. Highly recommended rental. You will love it!!

My family has been to Cape May at least ten times, and this was our first experience renting a condo rather than staying in a hotel. We couldn't have been happier with this choice! The location was perfect- two blocks from the beach, and equally close to town. Everything was within walking distance. The condo itself is beautiful- the kitchen and living area are brand new, there is a great outdoor porch, and all of the amenities make this place extra special. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any inquiries we had. I highly recommend this property.

Super clean, close to everything and the perfect size for our family of five. A short walk or bike ride to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This was our first time to Cape May and you can never tell what you are going to get by looking at pictures on-line but this house lived up to its description.

We are a family of three who enjoyed this condo last summer. We've vacationed in Cape May three other times and think this was the best accommodation we've found .The location is great, close to both the beach and pedestrian mall. The condo is very clean and well-appointed - the kitchen was wonderfully remodeled. The front porch is a nice place to relax and watch the horse drawn carriages. The owner is very attentive to the property and was very helpful and availabe to us before and during our stay. We highly recommend this rental. It is especially great for families with young children.

We visited Cape May during Mother's Day for a few days and must say perfect accommodations for our family of 4 including a 3 1/2 year old and infant. Very clean and comfortable unit conveniently located within short walking distance (a few blocks) to "The Mall" and boardwalk. Chris was a pleasure to communicate with and we would not hesitate to book again or refer others that would like to visit Cape May.

My husband and I stayed in this condo with our three very young children (at the time they were 4, 2, and 6 months). I am pleased to say that the place was as perfect as it appears online--a well-done renovation that is also well-maintained. The place was clean, comfortable, and absolutely convenient. We had no problem towing our little ones the two short blocks to the beach, or to Washington Mall. The beauty of Cape May is that you can just park your car when you get there, and that is especially true for the location of this condo. One thing families of small children should note is that the front bedroom with the three single beds has a transom above it, which means that light and sound from the living room/kitchen can get in and potentially disturb the kiddos. We just brought a box fan and turned it on high for white noise, and that worked perfectly for us! It was a wonderful experience and we would stay here again, without question.

The condo was nicely remolded and looked just like the pictures. The first night my family sat in the enclosed porch and drank some wine and spent some family time together. The porch is lovely. You can walk to the beach a block away or the mall. The mall is very quaint with all the fall decorations. It was Victorian week. The weather was great and all the stores were open. Perfect time of the year. I did not want to leave. I have to commend Chris for having all the essentials in the condo. He had everything you would have in your own home. You just have to bring your clothing. I have rented houses in Long Beach Island, New Jersey and Martha's Vineyard and nobody had all the extra's that Chris supplied. I would rent again definitely. The cost was reasonable compared to other places I looked at.

We have vacationed in Cape May for the past 3 years and have never had a better rental then here. The condo is beautifully renovatedwell stocked, with a magnificent portch where we spent alot of time. It is also in a beautiful neighborhood so close to the beach and the Washington Mall. The whole family felt that they were in the best part of Cape May - and we all loved the horse and buggies clomping by in the morning and late afternoon. Cannot beat the location, condo and price! Loved it.

The accomodations were great (exceeded our expectations) and the location was perfect (walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants yet on a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle). Will be recommending this rental to friends and family and hope to return in the near future. Jenine O.

My husband and I rented the condo with another couple and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The condo fully lived up to its advertising - it was beautiful and well-kept, and we loved that we could walk everywhere (the beach, the downtown area, the grocery store . . . ). We especially loved the porch, and ate all our meals out there under the ceiling fan. The owner was also very pleasant to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here the last week of the 2007 summer. It's in a tremendous location – 2 blocks from everything! Downtown, beach. Yet, even though it is close to the action, it is a very quiet spot. We spent many hours on the front porch...eating, reading, enjoying 5:00-somewhere, etc. The kitchen has been updated (as has the entire unit) and is well-equipped, with just about everything you'll need for your stay. I've been visiting Cape May for about 20 years, and this was one of the best locations and units I've stayed in. And...the owner was a real pleasure to work with. I can't wait to go back! Finally, if you’re not familiar with Cape May, a couple of plugs for my old faves – Louisa’s for dinner (make sure you get a reservation), Mad Batter and McGlade’s for breakfasts; also, Freda’s Café – great lunch place, haven’t had dinner there.Cheers!
