One of a kind location in the heart of the Upper Tallulah Basin is within 2.5 hours of Atlanta, Greenville, Charlotte, Chattanooga. The drive to the this cabin is known as one of the most beautiful and scenic drives in North Georgia. The property adjoins a forest service wilderness area with hiking trails right outside your door and touches two trout streams with access to a renowned, year round trout stream, the Upper Tallulah River. This stream is stocked in the summer months twice a week and is open to fishing year round. There are fantastic horseback riding trails to enjoy and secure, well equip stables close by, so don't leave your horses at home!
This very special valley was once a busy corundum mining community and later a logging town. Although many of the original settlers have gone, historical traces can still be found. This area is also home to a number of rare trees and plants such as the Mountain Camellia or Stewartia and is the ultimate place to enjoy the fall colors. Take a hike to one of the many waterfalls in the area, raft the Chattanooga, or just kick back on the porch swing with a good book. This is the perfect place to get back in touch with friends and family, spending quality time and growing memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. |
