Thank you for the wonderful week in the cabin it was beautiful. We loved everything from the senic drive up to comfortable, welcoming cabin at the end of the road. We had a great time hiking the various trails, falls, swimming hole, Deep Gap and the Tallulah Gorge. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place, the hot tub, the porch...we sat around the kerosene lamp telling ghost stories. It was a great time to have family meals and being unplugged from our cell phones. Thank God for the internet though! We had a great Spring Break.

The cabin was the perfect setting for a girl's 29th birthday. Days of BBQing, hot tubbing, zip linning, and white water rafting made for an incredible weekend. Since 1965 when an Athens friend invited me on a fishing trip to the Tallulah River, this area has had a very special place in my heart. I have camped here too many times to count----pop ups, motor homes.....spring, summer, fall. Never have I enjoyed it in such comfort as this week in your wonderful cabin. From the first phone call to ask questions to your "Is there anything else you need?" visit last night you have made this week a great and wonderful adventure for me, my wife, my sister, and a best friend! Thank you sooo much!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin. The termperatures were wonderful and the falls was a great place to take picutres. We(the kids) made a "half" walk-way across the river. I had the time of my life and hope to come back soon. It was tons of fun, we hope to return next year. N.H. and A.F. Leaving Day! We had a wonderful 4 nights here. The place is really beautiful. The screened porch & fire pit outside are fantastic. The area here is one of our favorites! But this trip we learned about the community and "way of life"............it's so special. We had a fantastic time. We hiked to the Gril Scout Camp and to the falls(we recommend both). Sunday we went to Cataloochee to ske, it was beautiful. Thanks so much for the well-stocked cabin! We enjoyed the hot tub every nite! You have a very peaceful spot here and we would love to come back. Chris & Rami

You and your family could not have been nicer to our family. You sure did receive 9 people who had "no room in any inn" at Christmas time. We loved your mountain retreat! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin. We are in awe of the heat generating capabilities of the wood burning stove! Thanks for the tans!! Though it didn't stick we got to see snow our first morning! Beautiful! We were all surprised at how much we enjoyed two days in a dell-phone free "Dead Zone". We had a wonderful stay! This cabin is an amazing getaway for anyone who loves the outdoors. Our favorite trails were the Girl Scout swimming hole trail & the Falls trail. National Park worthy but without the crowds! But most of all we enjoyed the sounds of the river, the relative isolation with no other house in sight, and just getting away from it all! Thanks again

The Cabin was amazing! Carly and I just got engagged and this was the perfect place to spend a nice quiet weekend together. We went to sliding rock and went down in all our clothes. Your cabin is special beyond words. Every touch was perfect and clearly you wanted to think of everything for your guest's comfort. Even the towels were soft and the beds so comfortable!! We had so much fun here "exploring". The Falls are a wonder all its own. Slidding Rock was the boys favorite place. We love the cabin and being so far out in the wilderness was fun too. Thanks for helping to make our anniversary a memorable one! The house is very comfortable and "homey" and we enjoyed every minute! We LOVED your cabin! The hot tub was wonderful and so relaxing. It was very easy to fall asleep on the screened in porch. We caught two trout in the river. Dear people, Man! I can't believe the first day! There were two swings to swing on and guess what? I swung on both of them. First I swung on the wooden swing. Then I swung on the beautiful quilt swing. And I could hear the sweet sound of the creek and wind. The porch was so calm. Even my Nanny and Pawpaw were pleased with this cabin so is my sister. P.S. It was truly a great weekend. It was good to meet you. Every day was truly spectacular. We were able to eventually find a certain water fall. I wish we had had more time to look for some of the others you show on the website. Maybe another trip will have to be scheduled. You were so correct, the drive up there is something to behold. We really loved the outside fireplace. The weather was so nice we sat out there most every night. Thanks again for everything. We really had a great time.

We had an absolutely perfect visit!! The cabin was so very comfortable and everything we could possible even think about wishing for was provided - we were so pleased (and surprised - we had a very unpleasant week long vacation in a house on Florida's gulf coast this summer, including mildewed shower curtains and just general filth).
