Year Purchased: 2007
For years I went to Colorado for my annual family ski vacations. I won a trip to Park City in 2005 and haven't been back to Colorado since. Utah has the best snow in the world. The Salt Lake City airport is only 30 minutes away (and has had the best on time flight rankings in the US for the last 2 years). Sundance Film Festival is awesome. And last but not least...the summers are beautiful. I live in Florida and enjoy spending summer in Utah to get away from the heat and humidity.
Why the Owner Chose Empire House
For years my family fought the Denver airport to travel to CO ski resorts. In 2005 I won a trip to Park City. The Salt Lake City airport is a 30 minute drive to many resorts. We have yet to have a flight delay from SLC. We haven't been back to Aspen since. Utah has the best snow on earth!! The Empire house is a great location. You can walk to Park City Mountain resort or take the free shuttle to several nearby ski resorts. Empire house has a free shuttle stop a few steps from the condo front door. Empire house is also within walking distance to historic main street, shopping, and I can't forget Starbucs!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
Our family has discovered over the years that Park City has much more to offer than winter sports. The spring, summer, and fall are beautiful. The city always has concerts, festivals, biking, fishing,,,,,,all kinds of other recreation for a long weekend or extended vacation. This past year during the Sundance Film Festival we partied with Sting, Kevin Bacon, Jeff Daniels...just to name a few.
