This is a unique private cottage tucked within a gated 15 acre estate in the foothills near Carpinteria. It is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 20,000 fragrant rose bushes which are part of a working rose farm (one of only two in the USA). The cottage itself was built at the turn of the last century. Full of old world charm, but with modern amenities, the cottage has two queen bedrooms and one and a half baths.
The master suite with bedroom and sitting area (including tv and entertainment center) has a large newly remodeled bath attached. Granite counters, large glassed in shower, picture window and claw foot tub for soaking make for a luxurious respite. It features a full kitchen with breakfast nook and adjoining private patio and barbeque area. There is a large great room with dining and living room space. Laundry and exercise room has a wood burning stove and office space. There is an additional patio with large lawn area and magnificent views of the rose fields.
The cottage comes stocked with continental breakfast and snack food items, coffees, teas, fresh farm produce, as well as beautiful bouquets of our fragrant European roses. Nearby is a 75 by 15 foot formal lap pool with a large attached jetted spa. This is a truly romantic venue for people who value serenity and privacy.
