Photo 1 - Clear Lake Vacation Home For a family vacation/ holiday or a Corporate Retreat, you couldn't find a more relaxing atmosphere than the Clearlake Keys. The house is situated less than 2 blocks away from the open lake where it opens up to a 70 square mile body of water. Clear Lake is California's largest fresh water lake. This lovely house is located in the Clearlake Keys right off highway 20. 2 hours North of San Francisco and about the same from going west from The State's Capital, Sacramento. The Town of Clearlake Oaks is where you will find the lazy Clearlake Keys. Looking across from front of the house you will see the majestic Mount Konocti, an extinct volcano, rising from the lake floor to an altitude of approximately 4,100 feet. The back of the house has a spacious deck which sits about 10 feet above the water line. There are lounge chairs and table, umbrella and chairs to enjoy the morning sun or evening breeze and eat in the open air right from that delicious barbeque grill. Also, if you're a hot tub afficionado you might enjoy sitting in the tub with a glass of wine in your hand and just watch the evening stars. The inside of the house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a California king size bed with a full compliment of bedroom furniture. The other room have smaller beds but just as comfortable with cable TV's. The Living room is quite spacious with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is also spacious with a dining area. Did we mentioned the laundry facilities and additional refrigerator in the downstairs bedroom. For the fisherman, the fishing is fantastic. It is not unusual to catch trophy size bass or catfish. There is a yearly bass and catfish derby drawing anglers from all over the country. If you have a boat,the house has a 22' covered slip right below from the deck to which that fishing vessel of yours can be tied up.Just imagine walking from the deck down the ramp to the boat and launching it. Just about a 3 minute boat ride to main lake and deep water for that great fishing. For evening fun and dining, and only a short 20 minute drive from the house is one of the larger Indian Resort Casinos offering Nevada Style Casino Gambling. Lots of Fun!! believe it or not they penny slot machines. For the wine afficionado you are only minutes away from large vineyards and wineries, so do a little tasting, specially during the fall and winter season.
