Stylish second floor apartment, very bright, with big windows on a characteristic, lively canal. Recently, it’s been wholly restored and furnished by an interior architect. The light hues of the walls provide the right background for the traditional Venetian furniture in walnut, with wrought iron bed, Murano glass appliqués, and white curtains embroidered with openwork, as well as for the classic paintings.
It consists of a double bedroom, a single one, both furnished I in blue hues; an ample living room with a comfortable Venetian red double sofa-bed, a roomy living kitchen fully equipped. The bathroom with shower box is covered with light marble with a refined inlaid motif that runs along the walls. With a five minutes walk you are at San Marco's square, and the surroundings are very characteristic, though being so central it's full of the Venetian taste of life, with many little workshops, restaurants, bars and pizzerias, as well as one of the few supermarkets in Venice is just across the bridge. Very near the church of San Giorgio degli Schiavoni, with the famous Carpaccio paintings.
Where: A five minutes walk from San Marco's square and 10 minutes far from the Biennale, very near to the church of San Giorgio degli Schiavoni.
Ferry stop: San Zaccaria. |
